Quickie Sponge Mop Refill Type S [Set of 2] - Mop Head Replacement Pads 9X2.75 Inch - Replacements #045 - Made in USA - Bundled Eraser Cleaning Pad

We have a 20+ year old folding sponge type Quickie mop that originally took Type H sponge replacements. When I couldn't find those a few years ago (or they were expensive), I found that modern replacements could be used. Drill approx. 1/4-inch holes in the metal holder at the right locations and these will fit. Photo attached shows the hole placement - 6 1/2 inches apart (blue nut / caps removed for the photo). These are great replacements and last for many floor cleanings.

I struggled to find a mop replacement head (refill pad) for a store-brand mop purchased at large home improvement retailer. I only realized after a while that mop heads have some standardized "types" and that the type is frequently molded or stamped into or near the mop head mount. This was a type "S". For whatever reason the large home improvement retailer I bought the mop from, their competitor(s), large grocery stores, and other retailers are not carrying or stocking this type which is actually a very prevalent mop head. I'm happy to have been able to get these from SEWANTA. They fit and work great. FYI each refill pad also included a set of the plastic "nuts" used to secure the refill pad to the mount.

I ordered these as a replacement for the Libman mop for which I could not longer find replacement sponges. I do wish the screws and wing nuts were metal instead of plastic ( worry they will strip) however they fit perfectly and that was most important to me. I will purchase these again as needed.

decided to take advantage of the great pricing - and have a spare on hand for when I need it, although it was a great excuse as to why I couldn't clean the floor - not having that sponge head. works great. it's a deal!

Sadly, my two, 30 year old Quickie Mops are rusting/wearing out. I have tried to find a new mop replacement, but I cannot find them in stores or on line anymore. Quickie Butterfly Mops are made to last and I for one am sad to see them fade away. I hope my mop lives long enough to allow me time to use up the two refills I just ordered. Letting go will not be easy.. Quickie please bring your butterfly mop back!

What can you say about a sponge mop?? It's well made & easy to mount. Beware though, just because it says it's for a Quickie mop it might not fit yours. I have 2 Quickie mops & a off brand like them. The mounting holes are NOT spaced the same on any of them. These pieces would not fit my Quickie mop heads but did fit the off brand so i'm ok. Check the spacing on the mount studs first. The reason I have 3 mop heads is because Lowes & other stores don't carry the refills anymore & I really like these mops

My fault, yes I know….but although the make was the same the product has changed. I’ve had the handle for ages and thought it would be simple just to buy some new pads. Alas the retaining tabs on the sponges no longer fit the holes on the broom. Oh well, out with the drill and make some new holes…. Disappointing.
