BURLY BAG
Very heavy duty burly bag. Seams seem well stitched, zippers are smooth and functional. High quality and very good value for the money. More rugged and waaaay bigger than my Oakland kitchen sink. The Foxtrot is bigger than I thought it would be, but that's not a bad thing at all. I can carry everything I need with room to spare. Did I mention thicker and heavier nylon than the Oakley. The laser cut molle is stiffer than regular molle and holds items tighter to the bag which is nice. Keeps things from flopping around as much. I like the vertical loops too. A well thought out bag in general. Very versatile with different sections for specific purposes.

Tough stuff
I bought this for my 8th grade son. He loves it. He is transitioning into his sophomore year and now needs a new one. We will be purchasing from the same brand.

Next gen comfort
My last Highland backpack lasted something like 14 years from motorcycle riding to hiking to EDC. Unfortunatel, that model isn't sold anymore, so I got this one. Quality seems on par and I'm looking forward to getting another decade plus out of this one.

Great travel packback!
Initially purchased this backpack for my son's Italy trip! This bag fits so much and has a lot of zipper pockets on the outside to store everything. It's heavy-duty material which is great. You can fit under the seat in most airplanes or use it as your carry-on if you have another personal item. I ended up buying myself one for my trips now! So much better than dragging a carry-on with wheels around. Great product for the price! BUY IT!

Carry-on capacity in backpack form
I've been using this for work and airline travel for the past 6 months. Absolutely nothing "tactical" in the way I use it. It replaced a smaller Swiss Gear backpack I've had for years before this, whose straps and fabric started to fray. Overall comparison I would say: - a little less organization (fewer folds, basically no pouches within pouches) + makes up for it with its huge size; you can also put your own travel organizers/plastic bags inside to organize. Plusses: + You can unzip the main compartment all the way open, the backpack then opens 180 degrees like a clamshell. Makes it easy to load/pack and get access to your stuff (if you have a flat place to open it up on; a little harder on the go) + Straps seem durable enough so far for heavy loads and regular use. I routinely have 25-30 lbs in here. I've had a previous unit tear around the zippers eventually. + If you commute by transit, airline, and rental bike/scooter, this saves you the hassle of a hand-carried carry-on bag. + The 3 miscellaneous pouches on the center each have two zippers, makes it easy to access stuff that's only on the left or right (or specific fraction) of your pouch, without having to open it fully up and risk things falling out. Minuses, which are all minor for me: - main compartment is giant (very long), and the laptop slot only goes about 2/3 of the way up, so if you fully load it with stuff, it can be hard to get your laptop in and out. - will not always fit under the "airline seat" especially if you fully load it (gets too wide); like I said, it's a carry-on size backpack. But... if you don't fill it all the way up, you still keep the option to put it beneath the seat. - empty weight is not insignificant, maybe 3-5 pounds empty. Overall a great pack for my purposes (long commutes to work on scooters and transit + catching airline flights on scooters and transit). Will probably buy another one if/when it breaks.
