Great for controlling multiple devices with safety routines
Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip KP303 โ Surge Protector with 3 Individually Controlled Smart Outlets Another great product from TP-Link. This power strip ended up being perfect for a setup under the bed where I wanted better control of a few small devices. The three individually controlled outlets make it easy to manage different items from the app instead of having everything powered all the time. One of the biggest advantages for me is being able to eliminate phantom power draw from chargers and small wall adapters when theyโre not actively being used. Itโs nice knowing those devices arenโt constantly pulling power. The safety aspect has also been a big benefit. I use one outlet for a mattress heating pad and have it set on a routine that automatically shuts off every morning. That gives some extra peace of mind so I donโt have to worry about accidentally leaving it on. Like the rest of my TP-Link setup, it integrates perfectly with my larger system that includes Tapo and Kasa devices. Setup was easy and it has been reliable in daily use. Overall this has been a very practical addition to my smart home setup.

Great smart plug; easy to use
Love the Kasa Smart Plugs and we have about 8 of them so I wanted the strip for my sonโs room. Works perfectly and I can shut off the TV or Nintendo remotely. I set them up on the Kasa App then add to my Google Home. Setup took maybe 5-10 minutes total

A must buy!!
Exactly what I was hoping for. Great quality and I absolutely love the timer and schedule functions. It is very easy to setup with the app. I am using for my reptile lights and scheduled timers for light on and off and certain times and it works great!

Great
Very useful, very functional, very sleek and easy to talk away. It works wonderfully, I'm able to control it with my voice which honestly is very convenient for turning on and off lamps as well as my heater. Honestly this is a win. Easy to mount. Saves me energy and that surge protection is a life saver. The USB ports are great for guests to charge there phone. I am in love with this product and will be buying a second one on payday

Works well ... nearly all of the time
This smart power strip continues to do what it's advertised to do ... 99.9% of the time. That 0.1% is the problem, but I'll get to that. It worked out of the box using the instructions provided. I downloaded the Kasa Smart app onto my phone, and after setup I was able to name and control the power strip's three outlets (I got the version with three outlets) independently, or combine two or all of them together into a group and control them at the same time. I can also control them with Google Home. It's advertised as also being compatible with Alexa, but I don't have anything with Alexa, so I can't test that firsthand. Each outlet also has a toggle button that allows the user to switch that outlet on or off manually, and each button has an LED that shows whether the outlet is currently supplying power to whatever's plugged into it. This is a bigger deal than one might think at first. Imagine a desk lamp with a chain that can be pulled to turn it on or off, but you can't tell by just looking at it whether that pull-chain switch is on or off. Now imagine that you plug it into this power strip and it doesn't light up. Where's the problem โ is the light bulb burned out? Is the lamp turned off? Is the power strip's outlet off? Well, I can eliminate the third question by just looking at this power strip and making sure that the outlet is on, so one pull of the lamp's chain will tell me whether the light bulb is burned out or not. The thing is, occasionally the power strip will just suddenly stop responding to the network. I don't know what causes this, but it will suddenly and silently disconnect; its power light and connection light will say that it's powered and connected to wi-fi, but the app says it can't contact the device. I can still manually toggle the outlets on and off with the buttons, but I can't control it with the app, or Google Home, etc. I can unplug the device and plug it back in, resetting it, and things work again. But I never know when it's going to glitch again, and that unreliability is what gives this device four stars instead of five for me. It doesn't happen every day โ it's been weeks since the last time it happened, in fact โ but not knowing what caused it or when it's going to happen again adds just enough uncertainty that I can't quite trust it. I'm not going to plug anything into it that might be disastrous if it couldn't be controlled. Very well designed other than that shadow of unreliability.

Rock solid smart strip
This smart plug strip is a game changer. Super easy to link with Google Home, and the independent outlet control is exactly what I needed for my living room lamps. It has built-in surge protection which gives me peace of mind. The app scheduling feature works perfectly for setting daily timers. Highly recommend

The best smart strip
I have multiple of these. They work great. I mainly use them for scheduling and auto shutting off things like TVs and lights. The setup is super easy in there app. And the scheduling and timer are also very easy to set. You can also rename all the plugs and the area and "Home/location" very easily to organize if you have multiple outlets. There is also a favorites section that you can stick your most used plugs into to make it easier to find if you have a lot of plugs. The price is a little more than normal power strips with surge protection. But to get the smart features it's more than worth it and I think a good value. It's also Alexa and Google Home compatible. I recommend getting the strip versus the individual plugs because it's more economical and always better to have more outlets than less.

Requires some understanding of how this device communicates with routers and networks.
I definitely ran into some problems with setting upthis strip, but there is a happy ending due to the help I got from Karen at TP link tech support. The simple instructions that came with the strip were not enough. The issue was that the strip needs 2.4ghz and though my router broadcasts both 5ghz and 2.4ghz via steering, the strip couldn't communicate with the router. On-line threads told me to set up two separate SSIDs, Xfinity said this was not advisable, and the guy at the Xfinity store said it was the only thing that would work. I called Kasa/TP link support and Karen walked me through exactly how to do it, using the TP-link network (not my Wi-Fi network) to set it up. So, it works great and Karen was exceptional tech support. Happy ending, lots of wasted time and frustration beforehand though; not the device's fault, more the incomplete instructions.

Amazon review and feedback
Iโve been using the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip KP303 for a while now, and itโs become one of the most practical additions to my home setup. I originally bought it because I needed something that could handle multiple devices at once without adding clutter, and this power strip fit the bill perfectly. With three individually controlled smart outlets and two alwaysโon USB ports, it gives me plenty of flexibility for small appliances, chargers, and random gadgets that always seem to accumulate around the house. The first place I tested it was behind my work desk, which usually turns into a tangle of chargers and adapters. Being able to control each outlet separately through the Kasa app has been a huge convenience. For example, I can shut off my desk lamp and monitor automatically when I'm done for the day, while leaving my phone and smartwatch charging through the USB ports. The USB ports stay on all the time, so I donโt have to think about toggling them. I later moved it to the living room to manage a few devices on a side table: a lamp, a small diffuser, and a WiโFi photo frame. With voice control through Alexa, I can turn each device on or off without getting up, which is especially nice when I'm carrying things or multitasking. The ability to schedule each outlet independently is handy tooโmy lamp turns on automatically in the evening, while the diffuser runs on a short timer so I donโt accidentally leave it running all day. What impressed me most, though, is the builtโin surge protection. It gives me peace of mind when plugging in electronics that I donโt want fried by random power fluctuations. The power strip feels solid and wellโbuilt, and it tucks neatly against the wall without taking up too much space. Remote control through the app has also been great. When Iโm away, I can still turn items on and off or check whether I accidentally left something running. And with my busy schedule, automating some of the smaller daily routines has made things feel more streamlined. Overall Opinion: The KP303 is reliable, flexible, and surprisingly useful for both home and workspaces. The individually controlled outlets, USB ports, surge protection, and easy voice/app control make it a smart, practical upgrade for anyone wanting to simplify their setup and add some automation without overcomplicating things. Itโs one of those products that quietly makes everyday tasks easier.

A Game-Changer for My Creative Studio: Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip by TP-Link (KP303)
As the owner of a bustling jewelry design and production studio, where we juggle everything from 3D design to wax carving, lost wax casting, sand casting, smelting, forging, laser engraving, sublimation, and not to mention our vlogging and streaming activities, managing power efficiently and safely is crucial. That's where the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip by TP-Link (KP303) has been a game-changer for us. From the get-go, the KP303 impressed me with its seamless integration into our workflow. The ability to control three outlets and two USB ports via a single app means I can power up my 3D printers, casting equipment, and laser engravers remotely, ensuring that everything is preheated and ready to go the moment I step into the studio. This level of convenience and control has not only streamlined our processes but also significantly boosted our productivity. The surge protector feature gives me peace of mind, knowing that our valuable equipment is shielded from any unexpected power surges. Moreover, the smart capabilities of the KP303 allow me to monitor energy usage in real-time, which is a boon for managing operational costs more effectively. But perhaps the most significant impact has been on our vlogging and streaming activities. With the ability to remotely control the power strip, I can easily manage the lighting and camera equipment's power settings from anywhere in the studio, even while live. This flexibility has enhanced the quality of our content, making our sessions more dynamic and engaging for our audience. In essence, the Kasa Smart Plug Power Strip by TP-Link (KP303) has not just been a tool but a transformative addition to our studio. It's rare to find a product that can make such a substantial difference in so many areas of our business, from the workshop floor to the digital space where we connect with our followers. I couldn't recommend it highly enough to fellow creators and business owners in the creative industry.
