Functional, well-made micro-drivers
The set is exactly what it claims to be, and is well-made, functional, and well-organized. The driver bits are as described in the listing: several types of screwdrivers, Torx bits, and Allen (hex) bits, in a range of small sizes. The screwdriver bits include flat, standard Phillips and Posi-drive Phillips (a Phillips-head with small wings between the crossed head flanges, for more purchase); the standard Phillps driver can be used on Posi-drive screws, but not the other way around, so you have to look closely to be sure you have the correct bit. The precise sizes are listed; essentially they run from "jeweler's" size to the small end of the normal range. The size is engraved on each bit shaft, though the markings are tiny. (Note: the T6 and T8 Torx sizes, and the small Phillips-heads, are appropriate for the case screws on Mac computers; I have used this set for that purpose, and it works great.) The bits appear to be very well-machined; the heads are precisely cut and well-finished. I cannot speak to the hardness treatment, but they appear to be good quality. The bits are all magnetized, and hold small screws very well while placing them in or removing them from threadholes. The driver is a little larger than usual for "jeweler's screwdriver" sets, but is comfortable and easy to hold. The shaft is steel with a standard hex-sided bit holder; the handle portion is covered in plastic with a rubber gripping surface, and the rotating top piece is also plastic. I was a bit leery of the plastic handle at first, but it seems to work OK. The bits and driver are well organized and easily accessible, in angled slots in a sturdy case with a latch; the case and lid are hard plastic, but not too flimsy. In short, this is a good set that is functional and seems to be well-made; it is an excellent deal at the price.

Very Good Micro Set
The price makes this set an excellent value. As other reviewers have noted, the quality is not pro-grade and would not stand up to heavy use over time. For home and hobby use, however, it is great. The kit comes with a micro driver and a good selection of hex, Torx, Phillips, and slotted driver bits, from small to tiny. Note that none of the hex or Torx bits are of the 'security' style, with a hole in the middle. All the bits I have used so far have been for work on computer components and logic boards and have fit well in the fasteners. The bits live in a usable plastic box with a clear cover and sliding plastic catch. The catch on mine had red arrow and green arrow indicators for open and close- for those of us who struggle with that kind of thing. The bits are nicely arranged at an angle in plastic grips that make it easy to select them and put them back where they belong. The case and driver on my kit came with badly misaligned logos and letters... Doesn't evoke a feel of quality but given the price, I rate this product the full five stars as my expectations were met and feel this was still a good buy for the money.

Best price + Best quality. (MacBook Pro 2012)
My project: - Taking apart my brand new MacBook Pro 2012 and putting in a SSD hard drive (Crucial) and 16GBs of RAM (Corsair). Conclusion: - This was the only tool set I needed for accomplishing this project. I will definitely have this case for the rest of my life. I would NOT suggest buying one of the silly kits that only comes with two screw options and the hilarious plastic prying tool. I made that mistake, and the cheap tools were worn to nubbins in one use. Get this Boxer 30 piece set instead! Pros: - Great quality. - Awesome price. - Fast shipping. - Tons of options and everything you'll need to open up your MacBook Pro (definitely the 2011 or 2012 models, and probably earlier models too but I can't be personally sure). - Even has the little weird guy that you'd use to take out the hard drive ("Torex-something?"). (The one that looks like a star almost) - The red part of the screw driver spins, so--when no one's looking--you can lean over and press with your chin on the back of the screw driver and use both hands to twist the bottom part. If someone walks in on you when you're in this position, I found that acting as if you dozed off is the most believable excuse. Be sure to slurp your saliva in and groggily ask what time it is. - Lightly magnetic bits allow you to keep a hold of screws. - Nice case displays everything clearly so it just takes a glance to find the one you need. Cons: - I told it to pet my cat, and it didn't. It did however make my bed, but Petri was still very disappointed.

Really great product for the price
I have a temperamental digital camera that I have to take apart occasionally and clean the interior lens. I was having to send it to the professional camera guy at about 50 dollars a pop to avoid the blob on my digital pictures. This little set allows me to get into it very easily. Those little screws are impossible without a kit like this. I found that this kit also allows me to adjust my glasses and take apart virtually any electronic gadget, particularly the back that holds the batteries in to a toddler toy. I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of used I have found for this set, which has a good number and variety of bits. An interesting feature is the way the handle operates. The little red top can be held stationary in the palm of the hand while the black body rotates the screw. This gives you a very good grip for tiny screws with more torque power than a normal tiny screw driver with a fixed handle. This is a feature I have not seen in other under-$30 jeweler screw driver sets. The case is also cleverly designed and easy to open and get the bit you need. I think for the money this is an excellent set. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that it does not have a few of the higher end security bits. For the average consumer, this is probably never going to be a problem, but occasionally you run into a security screw that is not a star bit or regular Philips head bit, which are mostly what the bits here are. Otherwise, this is a good set.

Very decent micro torx/screwdriver set and comparable to Wiha drivers at a quarter of the price
Needed a T-5 torx key to replace a Garmin 660 GPS unit but wanted to avoid paying for Wiha quality. Scoured both Amazon and eBay. This set had not only met my immediate need for a Torx 5 bit but also had all the micro metric and all the micro Phillips sizes needed for all the unexpected repairs for all electronic servicing. Nothing now is ever made in the US and instead found offshore. Best quality is still Wiha but their prices are extremely cost prohibitive for a decent set of micro drivers. FYI, all micro driver bits eventually fail by either breaking/rounding out/twisting but if used properly should initially work and remain serviceable for at least a few projects. I ordered two of these sets on Friday and was shocked when they were delivered Monday...Amazon almost has me hooked on enrolling for Prime so keep up the good delivery times. Put the T5 bit to work and had the Garmin 660 cracked open in minutes. Prospective purchasers should read the Amazon reviews which in my case sealed the deal for this microdriver set. Only complaint being Amazon charges tax and bumped up minimum order purchases to $35 in order to get free shipping. My "go to" seller is still eBay first then Amazon but I may have to list Amazon first since reviews are better detailed and delivery times was an amazing 72 hours...something I have never had before from Amazon. 5/31/2014....Torx 5 bit finally rounded off to the point of NOT being usable anymore. Kind of expect this which is the reason I originally two of these sets of tools. There are better bits out there (ex: Wahu) however I've found from experience even the high end quality bits will fail...darn shame these bits cannot be machined out of stainless steel or the fact there isn't any vendor out there that sells T5 bits in quantities of 25 or more

Great quality at an even greater price/value.
My search started when I needed a teeny, tiny Phillips screwdriver to work on my iPod Nano Gen6 (replace the touchscreen). It turns out the size #000 was what I needed. I figured I could buy a single screwdriver of good quality for $6. Or I could get this 30-piece set for only twice that amount. Furthermore, this set has a magnetic grip for the tips and to hold the almost-microscopic screws, and the other one did not. I can't imagine trying to get those screws in & out with my fat fingers! I was fearful that this set would be poorly made, with soft metal that would strip. But it worked like a champ. It's super easy to change tips, and with the storage case I won't lose the little single screwdriver. I figure I'll never have to buy another teeny driver, and in the world of ever-shrinking iEverything, I expect I'll have further need for it replacing batteries, broken screens, etc. Heck, I may take up watch repair just so I can enjoy more painstaking, tedious repair of tiny things!

Exactly what I was looking for
A few weeks ago, I was installing a SSD hard drive to my lapto[, and I was using the only small screw driver I had that would fit the screws, a small eye glasses screw driver that was about 3 inches high. Removing the screws were easy enough, but once I swapped the harddrives, and started to put it together, that is when I wished I had this set. It took me twice as long to put the screws back into the laptop. First, the screws were really small, less than 1/2 inch and the hole was closed to the side of the chassis, and I had the hardest time try to put the screw in the hole, and having the screw stay there while I attempt to screw it in. Needless to say, after 10 mins of frustration, and finally getting the screws in, I went online to fine a screw driver set. After doing some research, and for the price, I picked up this Precision set. It comes with 29 different tips, and 1 driver. I was easily able to find the one that fits the laptop screws, and more importantly, the tips are magnetized so it made it so much easier to put the screws back in. I read some reviews where the tips bent under pressure but I haven't had that happened to me yet. Of course, the laptop screws that I dealt with aren't tightly screwed in and I haven't had the opportunity to try this on screws that are really on tight but all in all, this is exactly what I wanted.

A reliable and straightforward laptop screwdrivers (My Rating: 3.5/5)
*Update*: After some use, the bits will lose its grease (if you keep holding it bare-handed) and start to rust. However, the tip has not been affected so far. The bits that I don't use still retain their grease. ========= Main Review: ========= I could not rate it more as it's still lacking in the cross-recess departments (it only got PH: Philips Head and PZ: Pozidriv). In terms of build quality, the bits tip are quite durable. All bits are greased (though your fingers won't feel oily; you could smell the typical odour in most mechanical stuffs). The screwdriver handle is comfortable to hold as it is made of rubber (for grip too)--that's the black-coloured part. The red part at the top, which is used to avoid over-fastening screws (like most precision screwdrivers), is large enough for easy application. Inserting the bit into the handle's slot (stainless steel) is easier than I thought it would; you just insert it, no tightening mechanism involved as the metal part is magnetised too (I could lift a metal object without the magnetic bit inserted). It's tight enough not to budge at all when you're screwing/unscrewing. However, removing the bit might be a bit hard (though very doable within seconds) since the bit's girth is relatively small (and as stated, greased) that it might slips off between your fingers (I suggest removing it with a cloth or tissue if you find it hard to remove it using your thumb and forefinger). As for the box, the base is pretty heavy (not quite sure for what purpose). It'd be more convenient for me if the box had been wider/spacier; that would make taking off the bits and the handle easier (though this does not affect my rating at all; just an opinion). Since I'm using it for simple everyday stuffs like laptops/remotes/joysticks, I don't find myself in need of those Hex and Torx bits. So, I think it's a bit pricey for me. But otherwise, it's a good screwdriver set. Note: There are only 29 bits (not 30); you can count them yourself via the picture provided. I've also added a customer image which provides details of what types are available (this is Boxer's description). _______________________________________________________________________________________________ ========== Extra Review: ========== Intro: ------ I decided to buy a screwdriver set in order to open up my Acer 4349 Laptop. Previously, I had send it to the laptop's local repairer because the RAM got baked (actually, he had to inspect before knowing the cause, and that costed me around 50 dollars which was quite painful to pay). When I got it back, I found out my WiFi reach has been reduced to a pathetic 1m. I couldn't afford to waste money on any repairer anymore, and so I have to do it myself. Objective: ---------- Anyway, the reason I had to buy a set is because the screwdrivers that I have could only open the screws of the laptop's cover but not in the battery's compartment (i.e. I can't open the cover). There's a 'M2x3L' near each six screws. I searched the whole net just to find useless "laptop screws" littered everywhere. How the heck am I supposed to know what screwdriver could open them? That's why I need to have the most complete screwdriver set particularly the cross-recess (+) and slot (-) bits. After a few days looking up different screwdriver sets, I finally arrived here: Boxer's 29 Pcs 4mm Precision Bits (you read that right: 29 not 30; a careful inspection of the picture should verify it). The other sets either don't have any cross-recess/slot bits at all, or inferior in the number of bits available. Test: ----- After I got the product, I tried different (+) bits (which are PH: Philips Head) but to no avail. Then, I proceed to the slot bits: I finally got it opened using the 1.5mm bit (no wonder my previous jewelry precision set couldn't open it--it got 1.4, 2.0, 2.4, 3.0 slot bits). When I've determined the WiFi adapter card, I tried to open the only screw (using the first two rows of the bits) but it's not budging a bit. It either needs a special screwdriver, or the head has worn out (but it does not seem so). I was really hoping to replace the card, but I noticed the single antenna got fixed to 'AUX 2' and 'MAIN' was empty. I'd figured switching the antenna to 'MAIN' could help, and it did--I finally got back my usual 10m WiFi range. So, in the end, Boxer's really helped in the process to that extent.
