Disappointed.
After reading the reviews, some good some bad...I took a chance and purchased. It came broken in half. The base is not strong or wide enough to hold the marble plate. I will now have to McGyver something together. I was so looking forward to this cake stand! Disappointed.

Perfect for my decor
I have a French inspired kitchen. La patisserie, looks beautiful, I ordered a clear dome to cover the pastries, its marble and the first one showed up cracked in half, 2nd time was a charm, thank you Amazon for your great return policy.

Cake pedestal is two parts one marble one wood
A little concerned because the base is made out of wood, and it screws onto the bottom of the cake thing. Not sure how long this will last.

Just Beautiful
I read the critical reviews on this item and decided to still take a chance on it and I’m so glad I did. It is stunning and I don’t mind the removable wood stand since I have limited storage in my kitchen. The top screws into the bottom so it’s very sturdy when assembled. I cannot wait to display a cake on it.
