The Dark Crystal Bestiary: The Definitive Guide to the Creatures of Thra (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Dark Crystal Book, Fantasy Art Book)

Such an amazing book!!!! I have had this on my wish list for as long as this book has been available. I saw it on a massive discount and decided to get it for myself. So worth the wait. It's made incredibly well and looks and feel amazing! The paper pages are a nice thick paper with absolutely stunning drawings!!!! The cover tells you right away it was made well and with care. I cannot wait to curl up at home with the movie playing going through this cover-to-cover learning about all the different creatures!!! If you are a fan of the movie or the Netflix show or both, this is a major item to add to your collection!!!! Totally worth it!!!!

My daughter is a HUGE fan of The Dark Crystal and almost imploded with joy when I gifted her this book. Every fan or collector should have this book. Its truly a one-of-a-kind. The artwork is gorgeous, and it is overall so beautifully crafted. Even the text its written in is unique and original. I have seen many books in my life, but nothing quite like this. I am so glad to have stumbled upon this gem, and hope it continues getting the praise it deserves!

Great Addition for Dark Crystal Fans A really enjoyable addition to any Dark Crystal collection. The artwork, storytelling, and presentation capture the unique atmosphere of the world beautifully. Whether you're exploring the lore, characters, or adventures, this book is a great way to spend more time in this fascinating universe. Very happy to have it in my collection!

A must for an fan of Dark Crystal.

Really great book for fans of Jim Henson, the Frouds, or The Dark Crystal

One of the best things about Dark Crystal is The litany of fun creatures that litter the world. This is in the movie, The graphic novel, and the Netflix series. This book absolutely delivers on showing you these fun creatures as well as some of the main characters. It's nicely bound and fantastically illustrated. Do buy it if you ever considering it and it would make a great gift for any fantasy fan.

This book is a must for your book collection , all who are dark crystal enthusiasts, hard bond, large beautiful colors throughout the illustrations, the wording on every page is beautiful calligraphy, more than I expected, never saw a book so beautiful. Not your average book.

This book is incredible! If you are a Dark Crystal fan, you have to get this book! There is so much detail, art, information about the movie and all the creatures you did see or did not see. You get to explore the animals, characters, geology of everything Dark Crystal. I absolutely loved reading through the different characters, their names, likes/dislikes, roles, etc. I had no idea! Also so many creatures that I personally do not remember seeing that I wish were real! The detail is amazing, the information is exciting, and the art is beautiful. This is a must buy if you are a huge fan of the movie or the world that Jim Henson creates, he makes some amazing worlds and details no one has come up with, love this book. Get this book, highly recommend!

Ottimo l'imballaggio.

Excelente calidad, muy completo

Iris Compiet is a worthy successor to Brian Froud. Her art is a lovely mix of sketchy dynamic lines and highly controlled watercolor painting. It's different from Froud's work, but I find it just as compelling and full of energy to look at. For the Dark Crystal fan, this book is very much a companion to the Age or Resistance era of the Franchise, and contains many images of characters and settings seen in that series.
