Review: Should’ve bought these years ago - I wish I’d purchased these a long time ago. I was getting pain in my thumb from repeatedly opening and closing the blade cover on my other rotary cutters. When you’re making a big quilt and cutting for days, that’s a lot of opening and closing the blade cover. I decided to try the Kai rotary cutter as I have their scissors and they’re wonderfully comfortable and sharp. The handle is very nice, it has a wonderful rubbery grip on each side and it’s thick enough to alleviate arthritic pain in my hands. I love the way the blade cover automatically covers up the blade as soon as you stop cutting.
