Bought this for my elederly mother who underwent bilateral TKR. The product is not very effective at cooling despite keeping it for several hours in my freezer (which functions perfectly). It's comfortable to wear and easy to strap on but pointless since the cooling is not sufficient from the get-go and there's barely any relief as a result. It also loses its low temperature in a matter of 10 minutes which is extremely disappointing. I bought two of these and regret it. I'd suggest cheaper gel-based packs for which you can use thin cloths as a cover instead of the thicker cover provided. Or just go with a conventional ice-pack, they may not be flexible but at least they provide good cooling effect.

Sandpuppy Coldstrap: best ice pack for injury! my husband plays badminton and at 37, he frequently sprains his right ankle. I used this for him instead of usual Moov and violin - he felt his recovery the next morning, Now i see him using it for 15-20 min every day after playing. Its compact and convenient to put in the freezer - the gel remains soft even after freezing. It does not get too cold like usual ice packs so can comfortably use it for 20-30 minutes. best part is the strap - it makes it so easy to use on any part of the body. Also very reasonable price for this product/.

I am using this ice pack. I think.. its a little overhyped for its design here on amazon. To be honest, this product is not even that durable due to a net inside and thay net already started tearing now within 15 days. I have used gel pack for last some months but since i have mine to some one else i bought this one. Comparatively i feel it does not even stay cold for long time. The mechanism is with longer gripping belt bit still it does not hold at the needed point very well or tight... I feel like my money is wasted because I am not happy with this product. I have knee issue and I need a good ice pack to serve it.. this product is not up to mark even after good design and all....

I had a joint injury and had surgery to repair the joint. I purchased SandPuppy cold strap at my friend's recommendation. I keep the Sandpuppy cold strap in the freezer overnight and then use it if I have swelling during the day. It stays cold for longer and allows me to use it multiple times over the course of the day. I have found it way more economical and easy to use than cold packs.

The ice pack worked just as advertised. It’s flexible, compression and temp are just right. Perfect for sore back or other muscles. The included pouch makes it easy to travel with. I found the strap a bit too long, but there could be many that prefer the extra length. A longer Velcro strip or hook for the strap would be awesome.

This cold pack was so easy to use, It has a Velcro that made it easy wrap around the knees and keeps it snug allowing me to do some movements in the house finally !!

Excellent product because when I place it on my knee, it relives it so I can move around in my home. I have to live with arthritis tu til the new world comes but I do not have swallow so much painkillers now

I put the ice pack in the freezer overnight. When I strapped it on in the morning, it did not feel very cold. In ten minutes it felt room temperature.
