FIOTOK Audio/Video Composite Cable for Sega Dreamcast

I recently picked up a Dreamcast console second hand and the seller did not have the composite (white, red, yellow) cord for TV hookup. I knew that cables would be available for cheap on Amazon but worried that they may not work well. I ended up ordering these as they were cheap and had qualified for free Amazon Prime shipping. When I received the cable, it fit very snug into the back of the Dreamcast. It required a little bit of force but I would consider that a plus since the cord is less likely to become unplugged. Other than that, the cable worked properly when hooked up to my TV. I suggest you purchase this aftermarket composite cable because an official SEGA one will be very difficult to find in this day. These work exactly the same and have sustained a few months use, thus far. If you happen to be looking for a better Dreamcast experience on your HDTV, look into the VGA Box Adapter S Video BRAND NEW for Sega Dreamcast as most of the Dreamcast games have the ability to play in 480p, which looks incredible when compared to standard quality picture.

I had a bit of trouble getting these to work properly. The plug into the dreamcast doesn't fit exactly, you pretty much have to hammer it in and that kind of scares me. Hopefully it's not doing any damage to the Dreamcast. And the AV plugs themselves seem very sensitive. I had to twist them a bit to get them to actually show a clear picture. Other than that, they work alright. IF you can, try to get the original Dreamcast AVs instead.

This seems like a decent product. The cable material seems sturdy and versatile enough for normal use. And it sends a fine picture. Concerning some other reviews, I was concerned originally that the Dreamcast side of the cable would be a tough fit for my system, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it fit fine, if not slightly snugly. I didn't have to force it, and feel everything will be fine going forward. I read other reviews and took a gamble, and it paid off. Good deal for the money, and well worth it to play this old Dreamcast again :)

A little stiff to plug in the Dreamcast at first. I plugged in the AV cable, turned the unit on and the TV screen was black. Tried what another reviewer had to deal with (mis-colored cables), but it was still black. So I take a closer look and plug the cable back in, felt that it could go more, and just pushed a little harder. Viola! works great, and cheap if you lost the original cable.

I recently picked up a dreamcast and needed a av cord. So I went to amazon and found this cord and it works GREAT! Perfect! A little tight but thats good because it wont come out on its own. Definitely recommend you grab this product while its cheap like this! Thsnk you!!!

This cable does exactly what it is supposed to do, and the resolution is on par with what is to be expected from a Dreamcast. I have no complaints, and the availability of this product allowed my family to break out Street Fighter 3rd Strike once again. If you have a dreamcast with no way to hook it up, buy this cable.

Does it's job. I misjudged the picture, I assumed it was the av cable that came with the DC but it wasn't. It smelled really weird when I opened it from the bag but it worked. I haven't experienced the problems that people are saying but I don't play too many video games. I only used it once and had no problems. If you can, buy the legitimate cable but if you can't this is a nice buy.

This is not even the right cable.. looks like an s-video cable. it will NOT fit in the Sega Dreamcast

Did not get dreamcast av cables. Seem to have gotten type 2 genesis av cables

The cable received is not the cable pictured. Does not work with the Dreamcast.
