The best clippers.
These are the best clippers, most groomers use them for a reason. They stay sharp, cut well and are sturdy and strong. These are great and if you need good, reliable clippers this is the pair to get. Great for even hard, large dog nails that are tough to cut.

My dog allows me to cut her nails with this cutter
I brought this for my Keeshond dog that weighs 44 pounds. It work well for her nails. Very easy to use. And very durable cutting device. Quick job.

These are the best trimmers ever!
Been buying these since 1986! These are great trimmers. I use them for dog nails, cat nails, rose bushes, cutting greens for holiday decorating and I have never had a pair become dull. Dogs and cats who wish to go without nail trims do identify them very quickly...lol. For nail trims, these give accurate and swift cuts.

The Regular Large & Premium Large ARE NOT THE SAME!!!
To be clear, the "Large Regular" and "Large Premium" ARE NOT THE EXACT SAME!!!! They are very similar and hard to distinguish between the two. However holding them in each hand, you can tell the difference. 1st: The finish and edges of the stainless steel are more refined on the premium model. This is noticeable when opening and closing the two. The regular model catches at the tip, where as the premium model does not. 2nd: The springs have a different sheen and possible thickness difference. The premium model is ever so slightly stiffer to operate, but nothing that would be noticeable if I didn't swap it back and forth several times. My guess thesis due to a heavier spring. "Stainless steel is not all made the same, there are different types. i.e. different metal alloy compositions. It could be different stainless steels being used on the two or just a different finish/polish of the two." 3rd: The appearance of the plastic is different and a deeper orange on the premium model. Not sure how this affects the overall quality though. 5th: The premium model felt a little bit heavier. Giving the sense that it is made with more and/or better materials. 6th: The Jaws of the cutters are slightly different sizes. The premium model actually has a smaller jaw size, although still adequate for anything other than a bear!!! Though I think you have more pressing matters if you are inspecting the size of a bear claw.... :-P 7th: The angle of the blades are different. You can see from the pictures that the premium model has just a bit more blade surface. Not being a professional groomer, I would still guess the premium being more of a smooth cut due to the angle differences. 8th: The yellow locker mechanism is larger and more solid on the premium. The regular model sticks when unlocking and locking the jaws. All in all, it would be easier and nice if Millers Forge would just make the two more distinguishable from each other. Maybe it's a marketing ploy to get us "frugal" shoppers to buy the non-premium model thinking we are getting the same quality as the premium model. Having inspected them closer, I will keep the "Large Premium" model. The attention in detail and materials is worth the extra money for it. My guess is that the premium model will hold up better over time. For what it's worth; I have a family member that owns her own grooming business and she recommended this nail cuter as being the best on the market!!!! She did not comment on the premium and regular models though. Having held both the premium and non-premium, I would recommend the Premium model!!!

My vet recommended and we love them!!
Got these because my vet recommended them for trimming our older dog’s thick nails. I’m so happy that we did! They took a little bit longer in shipping, but it wasn’t unreasonable or unexpected, and these are game-changers. They cut very smoothly and are so much easier to work with than the guillotine-style ones for trimming dog’s nails. I’ve even use them in a pinch to trim my own broken nail! Lol They’re reallly sharp! Our vet said she’s had a pair for a long time, so I expect they’ll last very well. My husband is now constantly willing to trim the dog’s nails, where he used to always put it off before. He can’t say enough about how much he likes these.

Purchased because I'd heard good reviews, but they aren't that great. Not really that sharp unfortunately and still feel like I'm squashing the dogs nails. I recommend the red miller's forge clippers instead, they're much better.

Attention: ce n’est pas la marque Miller Forge mais une contrefaçon chinoise.

Great clippers for dog nails. Comfortable handles and the blades do my giant breeds nails easily.

I had purchased these as they were my favourite nail trimmers back when I did this for a living in my highschool days. I was excited to find them again. They are not the same style as advertised. They are cheaply made, extremely light and not heavy duty at all like they once were. Made from cheap plastic that is already fraying at the top and they havn’t been used. Very disappointed. They will still work but not on hard thick nails. Quality I would expect to buy from the dollar store. I’d exchange if they actually had the ones that are advertised. Fork for size reference
