I had a total reverse shoulder replacement 2 weeks ago and have had a very difficult time sleeping at night in the arm sling with the metal brace and rock hard cushion for the first week and then the softer sling since. I have to sleep in this sling for 6 weeks. I’d get 2-3 hours and then wake with the pain and struggle. Trying a recliner didn’t help me much. Awful. My physical therapist had a wedge cushion that we began using and she suggested I get one. I saw on UTube people recommending them for rotator cuff or shoulder surgeries. This set arrived yesterday quickly after I ordered it. I slept through the night! I was so comfortable both on my back and on my side. The memory foam held me gently, no pressure points despite the sling. 24” wide was just fine for me (5’1”, 135 lbs) I could not believe it! I ordered one for my husband this morning. I am also sending one to my daughter in law who is 8 months pregnant with her second child and having trouble sleeping. I appreciate this model’s simplicity with 3 parts. It’s easy to set up, manage and reconfigure. There was no odor at all. I am so grateful to have found this. Sleep is so important to me in recovery now.

I got this to use for back sleeping while I’m pregnant. I was told as long as there is an angle I’m being propped up at, it is safe to use by my physician. That angle should be 20° or greater. I have a hard time sleeping on my right because of irregular tinnitus and on my left because of severe restless leg. Swapping from side to side all night makes my hips hurt by morning. I’m a tummy sleeper for my whole life and that’s not practical right now. Anyways, this pillow is massively helpful for sleeping. It helps reduce my challenges by allowing me to get comfortable when I’m tired of side sleeping. It has even helped to reduce my restless leg because I can be in a better position. I love this pillow. I did try the big honking pregnancy pillow everyone recommends and hated it. It did not help and it was crazy uncomfortable. The fact that I got used to this in a hurry and it’s a reliable way to get comfortable, makes me recommend this over that stupid thing. On a side note as a nurse, this pillow is a great product but I would never recommend it being used in the bend of your knees as advertised because I’ve seen healthy people developed blood clots using support items in the bend of a knee. I can’t imagine ever recommending it being used that way for post-op knee patients.

Love it! So comfortable, memory foam is holding up beautifully after a few days of use and it perked up quickly out of the vacuum packing. There was a dark spot on the cover when I opened it which was concerning as it seemed like it may have been used? Also the Velcro for the headrest is already destroying the cover. It’s pulling threads out everywhere no matter what I do.

Highly recommend this wedge for post-arthroscopic shoulder surgery! Best position was low angle for sleeping, really great fit and so comfy, made for a good night’s sleep! Has a detachable pillow that was great for supporting the arm sling vs using as a headrest. Memory foam made it great for sleeping, but because it’s memory foam, it doesn’t have the firm support for the upright position needed for sitting up while eating etc for a 5’11 200lb man; maybe for a smaller person it would be OK? Used the Forias Wedge Pillow for Sleeping 7-in-1 Foldable Bed Wedge Pillow for After Surgery for sitting up and between the two had the best case scenario for comfort during post op recovery. Didn’t find a pillow case to fit yet OK, did without one. It’s so comfy it will be used beyond the postop recovery time!! Love it!!!

I bought this product because I had a major surgery and I needed to be sitting up. My doctor suggested a wedge as I was able to lay down from sitting straight up. This looked really great because it also came with a little pillow however part of this wedge does not come off. You would think that it’s two wedges to fit together but that’s not true there’s one piece where you can manipulate two wedges that are attached by the cover, into one or two configurations however there still attached. We found that it was too short of an incline and it was a very stiff foam. If you want to be basically sitting straight up this might be good for somebody we wanted a longer wedge with a more gradual incline so we returned it. It’s probably good for someone who’s looking to be more upright and also someone who doesn’t want the wedges to come apart it basically ends up being two pieces. The little pillow which Hass to be kind of attached where they want it attached with Velcro and another wedge stick and go into two different configurations . We returned it

Prompt delivery. Pillow comes compressed but takes full shape in about 24 hours. Sturdy but comfortable memory foam. Multiple positions as shown in description online. Easy to change positions, too. Great for recovering from sinus surgery. Probably works great to prop legs up after surgery, too, but haven’t tried that.

I am always the happiest posting a review when it is a positive review. And this one will not disappoint. I am laying on this wedge pillow as I write this after Rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. This pillow has been a game changer in my post surgery recovery. So far I have used it in 2 of it’s possible positions, and I sleep on one of them every night. It gives me firm support, while being comfortable enough to read or sleep. I tried my regular pillows in different configurations when I got home from surgery, because I just wanted to get comfortable and sleep. That was incredibly painful and did not support my body as it needs to be supported. In the totally upright configuration I can read or watch television. I am sitting upright and completely supported. In the 1/2 upright position I have now found the best configuration for icing, napping, and sleeping through the night. I will be using this wedge pillow long after my recovery from my surgery because it offers multiple configurations for comfort and support.

Great pillow for neck or shoulder surgery. But the material is itchy to me. I wish it had a soft pillowcase, especially for the headpiece

Product did not sit well with me. It's well made; however, it was suitable for my posture.

It helps with my GERD condition, and i love the fact that i can flip around for reading mode. Great product, I fully recommend it. It took a little longer the inflate completely but once it did stayed sturdy. The neck roll type of pillow that comes with it is great for resting my feet. Also, the memory foam quality is superior. Useful, practical and very helpful. Worth the price.
