The Bialetti heat diffuser works great. I thought it might take longer to get the pot up to temp but it transfers the heat really well on an induction cook top. It’s also much cheaper to buy the diffuser than an entire pot that is induction compatible. A word of caution, make sure they sent you the correct item. The first diffuser that arrived was not a Bialetti but a no name generic version of really poor quality. I requested a replacement and Amazon took care of it and sent me the real Bialetti I ordered. It worked out ok in the end but it was frustrating to have to deal with the return.

Perfect companion for my Bialetti Moka pot when I go camping. Great quality, looks good and keeps my pot from getting a burned out handle with my camp stove, plus it stabilizes it on the burner! Perfect espresso every time!

I keep the underside of this thing spotless, and clean my stove top before using it. But it still heats up SO hot, even on a lower temperature, that it often leaves a scorch mark on the tempered glass. I don't think that's the fault of the diffuser, but probably something that happens using any diffuser. On the other hand, the handle never gets hot, so it is doing its job, and I can use my fancy moka again.

I bought it for my Bialetti coffee maker and it has really been worth it; all the heat from the stove passes indirectly to the coffee maker, which makes it possible for it to maintain its color and shine and prevents it from getting damaged.

The best ! Keeps the coffee at the right temperature

After updating our kitchen from gas to induction, I bought a Bialetti Musa stainless steel pot. I spent several weeks playing with all the variables (initial water temp, power level, water volume) but just couldn't get coffee anywhere near what the Moka Express produced. I gave up and ordered this adapter, and all's right with the coffee world now. The adapter works and does the job, allowing me to use the classic alumin(i)um pot on the induction cooktop and make great coffee. Re: reviews saying the adapter discolored or melted - I use my adapter at 70% power (~1200 watts) and there's absolutely no evidence of discoloration or distortion. I think people who experience these issues may be abusing the adapter by (1) heating it to high temperatures without something on top that has sufficient heat capacity to absorb the energy, or (2) allowing heating to continue after all the water in the pot has boiled out of the lower reservoir, leading to overheating.

Funktioniert mit meiner Bialetti-Sonderedition im Dolce Gabbana Design ausgezeichnet. Die Ränder der Platte sind allerdings sehr scharfkantig - mit der Gefahr, das Kochfeld zu zerkratzen. Empfehle daher, die Ränder mit Metallschleifpapier zu entgraten und etwas abzurunden. Ist einfach zu machen und funktioniert.

Permette di usare senza problemi moka e pentolini sui piani a induzione, svolgendo perfettamente il suo compito. Con l'utilizzo tende a scurirsi un po', ma questo non ne compromette il funzionamento. La qualità del marchio si nota e la robustezza del prodotto trasmette affidabilità. Nel complesso un ottimo acquisto, consigliato.
