Works great, unfortunately for the goats
Human review: easy to use, decent quality, my goats didn’t even notice what I was doing.Goat review: Bull**** I didn’t notice it. Just because she distracted me with treats doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. Why in the WORLD did this happen to me?! What kind of a sick person does this to a cute goat like me?!

Good value, bands hard to get off.
The rubber bands do not come off easily, which can cause pinching. You have to place the rubber band up really high on the prongs and manually roll it up and off onto the animal. Otherwise, it worked as it should and weathers Nigerian goats perfectly.

Works fine...
Tool fit comfortably in hand, seemed well made, had a nice powder coat finish and did the job of expanding the castration ring(s), which appeared to be standard, for placement. Used only 2x, however, and did not use it for castration so can't rate it for repetitive use or durability. Giving a five star rating despite that due to reasonable pricing when purchased.

Not strong enough band for boer goats!
I banded my 3 month old boer goat baby with these bands a couple of days ago. It has turned into a nightmare. The band isn't sturdy or strong enough to do the job. My baby boy is in a lot of pain because it didn't cut off the blood supply to the testicles and he just hurts. My vet advised to add two more bands to do the job and had to prescribe me with goat pain pills. He just looks so miserable and sad! My vet recommended the tri-band castration bander. Much thicker and stronger bands to castrate the 1st time with less pain.

Tool worked as should, RUBBER BANDS BROKE as they were dried out.
The tool works as it should. The bands on the other hand were shot. They snapped every time I went to use one. They were dried out. I had to buy a new nag from a local farm store to use it.
