Excellent Performance
I have the older version bought many years ago. It pairs Bluetooth well flawlessly, easily and always. Performance has not degraded or broken and is working reliable. Recommended.

Works great, after a rocky start
Update: Was using the transmitter with my Airpods and the Bluetooth kept cutting in and out. One time when it came back, it came back LOUD and since then, the volume has been fine. I am not sure what made the volume raise, but I wanted to update as the device is working great now. Also changing my rating. Will update if the sound gets low again. I had purchased this to listen to my iPod Classic with my AirPods. It connected fine, but the volume is so low that I can barely even hear some songs, even with the volume on the iPod all the way turned up. I had the same issue when I plugged it into a PC as well. It seems to work better as a receiver (for instance if you are plugging it into the aux port on your car or another device). If you are looking for a transmitter, look elsewhere unless you don't mind very quiet audio.

Compact Device, but Difficult to Pair and Inconsistent Use
I bought this 2026 Upgraded Bluetooth 5.3 Transmitter hoping to connect it between a walkie talkie and my Bluetooth headphones so I could hear communications more clearly. Unfortunately, it didn’t work as I intended. Functionality: It did not work well for my intended setup. I had trouble getting it to function reliably between devices, and it wasn’t consistent once paired. Battery Life: Battery life seemed decent during the time it was on, but since pairing was inconsistent, it was hard to fully evaluate long-term performance. Portability: Very portable and easy to carry around due to its lightweight design. This is one of its better features. Ease of Use: This was the biggest downside. Pairing was difficult and not consistent every time I tried to connect devices. Latency: I didn’t notice a major latency evaluation in my use case, but overall performance was inconsistent, which made real-time use unreliable. Compact Size: The device is very compact and easy to store or transport, which makes it convenient for travel or small setups. Overall, while the size and portability are great, the pairing difficulty and inconsistent performance made it not suitable for my needs.

Loud, unwanted announcement.
Bluetooth connectivity works OK for me, but has a major flaw that drives me up a wall. If it receives no signal for about 20 minutes, and is not turned off, it shuts itself off with a very loud, sudden, annoying announcement - "BLUETOOTH OFF!" This is not documented anywhere that I could find, and therefore cannot turn it off, if that's even possible.

Works. But, lacks volume.
I charged the device as soon as I unpacked it. Charged up fairly quickly. Bluetooth connected fairly easily to my Skullcandy Grind True Wireless earbuds. Connection seems solid. I can hear a little electrical interference, especially when I put my hands on or around the device. I bought this especially for use with my Audiovox portable DVD player that I've had for many years, and it is rock solid but lacks wireless capability. So, I decided to try this route to free myself from the last vestiges of wired earbuds/headsets as I'm spoiled to wireless. I don't want to, nor do I need to replace my DVD player, it was a birthday present from my beloved wife, it works great, and has a great 10" screen, a battery, car plug, and mains power supply. Really great when sitting, as I recently had to for 4 hours, in a long line that isn't moving! Back to the device: it functions well and as advertised in a nice small, lightweight package, and includes the necessary cables, but lacks any kind of pouch or case - which I like to have for my small devices, especially multi piece. I got everything connected, and it works ok except the volume, at full volume setting on the player and device, are so low that any noise in the area, including low volume conversation, makes hearing the DVD dialogue. For some reason, the dialogue is distinctly ''layered" where you can most clearly hear the primary character(s) dialogue, then there's a distinct drop off in volume in "support/background" character(s) dialogue. If you adjust the volume downwards, at all, you hear nothing. I tried adjusting volume on the device, but it doesn't respond, and same for the Skullcandy earbuds volume control. I have another set of wireless earbuds, generic brand, and got the same results. Only time I can possibly use will be late night when other household members are sleeping. I am disappointed with this. TLDR ; Seems to be well made. Functions well. Except poor volume level.

Go BT to 3.5 in or out
I just got this Bluetooth transmitter off Amazon in and really good ! 1st have a new iPhone with C port that I couldn’t plug into older stereo unit in car and this 5.3 BT receiver to 3.5 wired plug worked great and In stereo ! 2nd, I also can plug into wired earbuds and (not) have Bluetooth next to my head to hear my music ! 3rd, With the long life battery life, it hits all my expectations :-) yes worth the money and I would buy again !

Solid enough for my needs
Using with my PS5 to exercise. Works just find. Did need an additional adapter AUX to USB because my television didn't have a simple audio aux plug. But proceeded to connect them to my everyday Raycons without issue. Have used them three times and still no problem. The audio won't be controlled with the device, which is across the room when I use it anyway. But I can control audio with the earbuds. Sound quality is good enough and very occasionally spots out for a half a second. But it's not frequent or intrusive. And it might be the earbuds. I'm happy and the price is good.

Compact, fair battery life
For the sources I connect to this, there is no volume control needed. Volume is controlled via the connected source. Not a big deal for me, I am sitting right at the source, so volume control is at my fingertips. I get the sound I expect from this device. I receive the Bluetooth with my hearing aids, and what comes out of this transmitter is what I get from anything connected in this way. As with another device like this, I do have to be careful not to walk out of range of the transmitter. If I do, the Bluetooth is disconnected and the connection is forgotten by the device. Not a problem for me. If I get up to walk out of range, I just unplug the device from the source and carry it with me. When I come back to the source, I plug the device back in. Easy workaround. Also, I have discovered how to re-connect the Bluetooth easily if the connection information is lost, so I do not worry anymore if I do something to break the connection. Another such device has a battery life that almost works for the longer sessions I am listening. That is one reason I got this device. If the other device goes dead, I unplug it, put it on charge, and plug in this device. AT LEAST twice the battery life. I do not know the actual battery life of this unit because it is my secondary device. If I run out of battery on both devices, I have been listening too long!! I used to have an old DC plug-in transmitter for my TV. Unfortunately, I need a device for the TV and for a laptop which does not have a great Bluetooth connection with my hearing aids. I really like the battery operation, because I can (and do) swap a single unit between TV and laptop without issue. One Bluetooth connection, regardless of the number of sources. A difference between this and my other such unit is, this one has 2 AUX ports, one for transmit, one for receive. It also, weirdly, has a switch for TX and RX. Not sure why both (switch AND ports), but not an issue for me. My only reason for having these devices is as transmitters. I have never used any such device as a receiver, or needed to.

Well made, works well.

Bluetooth - audio lag, not suitable for recording music performace.
Best Part is that the Unit is chargeable. So once it is charged - it is very portable. However, being Bluetooth, there is some lag in receiving/hearing the audio - which for playing/recording musical instruments or recording vocals, would not be suitable.

Works great !!
Printed manual text is so small, it really is so hard to read; but very clear instructions. Product works great ! Zero regrets !

Good for the moneye
It does the job well so far. I’ve used it for two weeks every day and I hasn’t skipped a beat. I paired it with my AirPods and worked well. Not the greatest sound quality compared to other BT devices but again, considering its price, it is not bad. It may look a bit cheap made though and it’s not prettiest device to show around.
