I have one been sewing for 6 months and was able to follow the directions given and make this. The facing were easy to figure out. I was nervous about the 1 cm seam allowance, but i used my quilting foot and moved my needle to the left and it wasn't an issue. I added a visible french seam to the front and back, stitch in the sitch to hold the facings in place. It came out really cute. Well the directions say easy, one really has to have experience with sewing because the directions are minimal. For example, it doesn’t tell you to finish the seam allowances in anyway. It basically says so it together. Not sure why one reviewer had such problems with the facing.
