I have two of these adapters- one is used daily and the other still in the box but travels with me for emergencies. It does everything i need it to. Super easy to install/detach, lightweight, and very portable.

Easy to connect all your devices. Small and compact. There a plug you can add a power supply. Light weight easy to bring with you all the time. I use it with windows and apple it is really compatible.

Still working and I move mine on and off my mb pro often. Still works as it did when I bought it. Kinda wish I got one with more ports tho. Still, works good.

I bought this product and it worked as expected. However, 6 months later the product failed and didn't work anymore. Had to buy a new hub. So very disappointed in the product. Would not recommend it. 1/12/26- The vendor responded to the original review and gave me a full refund. So impressed that they stood behind their product. I changed the number of stars because when it worked it worked well.

Este producto es realmente muy útil para mí, debido a que soy cineasta y fotógrafo. Hay ocasiones que necesito llevar mi laptop a un lugar que estemos haciendo una cobertura mediática. Por lo tanto, necesito editar contenido en vivo rápidamente y como las laptops modernas no traen tantos puertos, lo máximo que pueden traer son 2/3 puertos USB para conectar el mouse, el teclado y otra cosa más, para nuestra profesión podemos tener mil y un accesorios conectados a nuestra pc. Lo que más me llamó la atención de este producto es que puedes conectarte a 3 pantallas (2 Hdmi y 1 Display Port), es increibleeeee, aunque por el momento solamente tengo una pantalla pero si tienes planes de tener más pantallas en tu espacio de trabajo, ya puedes estar tranquilo con este hub. Todos los puertos funcionan correctamente, y es muy probable que no uses todos los puertos todo el tiempo, posiblemente el hub este en un 30% de capacidad. Está bien. CONTRAS: lo que no me gustó, es que aunque en el puerto display port puedes hasta transmitir en 8k, es a una frecuencia de 30 Hz, pero seamos sinceros, no todo el mundo usa 8k de manera cotidiana. Por lo menos en 4k sí tiene una velocidad de 144 Hz. También, algo que pasé por desapercibido, es que cuando estaba leyendo el manual me habló de temperatura adecuada de operación o funcionamiento, no sabía por qué mencionaban eso. Pero ya usando el hub durante un tiempo noté que tu se suele calentar levemente (solo usando un puerto HDMI) no me quiero imaginar en un futuro cuando use más puertos. Aun así no es nada de que preocuparse, mientras no supere los 70 grados celsios todo bien. ajajajjajajja

This thing is loaded for the price. I tried it with my work laptop and had most every port populated and it worked great. Ethernet, headphone, USB, USB-PD, display, etc. Now personally, I prefer to connect my display directly to my PC HDMI for 4k 120Hz and VRR compatibility and all that, but the 4k 60Hz was accurate. I assume the DP can do 4K 120Hz if it can do 8K 30Hz, but I didn't test that. The build quality of this is very nice. Very heavy duty Aluminum, good heat dissipation, didn't seem to get too hot. The cable length is good, about 10.5", almost too long, but easy to remedy with a velcro strap if required. The display off button is also a very welcomed bonus.

I purchased this piece of crap in July 2025. It's Dec 2025 and this dongle stopped working. I only used it for connecting my wired internet with my MacBook Air. Rarely used usb ports. Never used the HDMI. People don't waste your money. I wish I could return it.

Gives you all the ports you need and provides a headphone jack (important since it blocks the headphone jack when connected). It comes with rubber feet that you stick on the underside, where there are (quite deep) indents in the aluminium frame, ensuring these rubber feet don't slip off and when on, ensuring the hub is flush with your macbook on the table, so any downward pressure doesn't damage the ports. Plenty of ports on it too. With everything connected, I still have a spare USB C on this thing, as well as a HDMI, micro sd and sd slot. Overall couldn't be happier, plug and play, no issues and ports for days. I keep my usb's plugged into this hub and when I arrive at my cafe of choice, I plug it in and have instant, reliable and consistent connection to all my external devices. AND cheaper than the competition. Couldn't be happier!

I’ve had this for a while now and usually don’t review these things because they often die veeerrrryyy quickly. I was going through these at a ridiculous rate at one point and it was costing me a fortune (other brands I have to say). They simply kept breaking / failing because they were made from cheap components. I’m not sure what this is made from so I can’t comment on that, but what I can say is that this has been considerably more reliable and consistent than others I have tried and is still going strong after a year with heavy usage. I’ve used all the ports regularly as I do a lot of sound and video work and you just plug this into your Mac and go. Speeds are relatively fast for transferring, the size is good and makes it really portable and it feels pretty durable. In terms of installation, you just plug it in and off to go. It feels more sturdy than many others I have used and has stood the test of time so far. I’ve actually been consciously waiting for this to fail for a long time now and it never lets me down. I also like that you can have power plugged into it so you can power / charge the laptop whilst working. There’s a lot of ports which opens up many possibility’s for card transfers, mouse and keyboard inputs, outputs to TV via HDMI, USB can be used for external hard drives too which is a life saver when working with such large files on a regular basis - even with decent laptop storage and (begrudgingly) an ICloud storage subscription, I vastly prefer using external hardrives for reliability and quick access to files. iCloud often lets me down in this regard. When the his does eventually fail, which it inevitably will, I’ll definitely purchase another because I have confidence it will be consistent, reliable and last a decent amount of time which means you are getting your moneys worth from it.
