I pulled out 11 just 48 hours ago. I have about 40 more to go. This chain should last the rest of my life and my grandchildren’ lives. It’s a hoss, and should have countless uses through the years.
Review: Strong Chain - The chain itself is strong - pulled a bunch of logs with it. Only problem is the clasp or latch that closes on the open end. Not sturdy. Bent and crushed a little. The chain still perfectly functional. Still pulls big logs. The clasp just doesn't close quite like it used to.

- Industrial strength construction - The heat treated Grade 70 chain and hooks are intended to stand up to rigorous field use and harsh weather conditions. Zinc-dichromate plating provides corrosion resistance. The forged grab and slip hooks feature a heat treated load pin with a retaining cotter pin so they stay attached to the ends of your chain, but can also be removed if needed. The grab hook engages easily with 1/2" chain.
- Properly rated with your safety in mind - This heavy duty chain has a 6,600 pound Safe Working Load and is intended for use with a load binder that has at least the same load rating. The rating is based on a 4:1 safety factor. 4:1 is the correct safety factor, recommended by the NACM, and our chains are always rated properly. BEWARE: some other suppliers on the market do not rate their chains at a full 4:1 safety factor, which is not safe and can be very misleading to the user.

A heavy duty chain that I am using to pull out concreted fence posts that were cut short to support a deck, using a 6,000 pound farm jack. I pulled out 11 just 48 hours ago. I have about 40 more to go. This chain should last the rest of my life and my grandchildren’ lives. It’s a hoss, and should have countless uses through the years.
