Bought this to repair fireplace cracks. While the mortar was the wrong product, this tuckpoint works fine. It has a sticker for Marshalltown on it, but no other company insignia. No Marshalltown imprint on the blade, as often seen with Marshalltown tools. BUT... this tuckpoint trowel costs $7.73. A quick search shows that the less expensive "Marshalltown" tuckpoint trowels sold at hardware stores also don't have the blade imprint. The one that does, on the actual site itself, costs $16.95. At half the price, either this is a less expensive version, or it's not real. But.... it's half the price. Husband says there's no way to tell the quality until you've used it for some time, and it either bends or handle falls off. He hasn't used this one more than a few minutes. If you need a tuckpoint for a single repair job, why spend double the money? If you are looking for the highest quality for continual use, I'd look for the one that has the Marshalltown imprint on the blade or handle, both would cost substantially more. This one does not have it, but works fine.

I got this product as part of a few items that I ordered for a tuck pointing job. This product appeared to be well-made and would have worked fine if it had been they type of tool that I was actually looking for. Conclusion: If this type of blade is what you're searching for then I believe that you will have a good experience with it.

Bought to tuck point a basement brick wall in a DC row home. this worked great. it the joints perfectly. I will say that it was an inside party wall so the joints are larger then the outside front of the house. Only downside was limited amount of compound this held at a time. but that is to be expected. Held up for the whole 11x40 foot wall and cleaned easily. Very happy for the money and will keep encase i need to use again.

Primarily used to pack in between bricks and smoothing mortar joints. It works good and durable. Probably will never have to replace it

une catastrophe... J'en ai acheté 2. Le premier a cassé au niveau de la soudure au bout de 30 min de travaille. Le deuxième a plié au bout de 1h de travail... C'est les langues de chat ayant la plus mauvaise qualité avec lesquels j'ai travaillé depuis plus de 10 ans... L'acier ne plie pas mais tord.
