Once I figured out how to use this LEXIVON miter saw protractor properly, it quickly became one of my favorite tools in the shop—and it's absolutely worth 5 stars. The 7-inch aluminum body feels genuinely well built and solid in hand, and the rust-proof construction gives confidence it'll hold up to regular shop use for years to come. The precision laser-engraved scales are crisp, clear, and easy to read, which makes transferring angles to the miter saw accurate and repeatable every time. This protractor is solid and accurate. It came with a protective case and instructions for making compound miter saw cuts.

Well-made, simple, easy to use. I bought this to help get the correct angle for laminate flooring at an angled door. It is easy to use, the markings are easy to see & read. Stiff enough to hold the angle but not too hard to move. Has thorough booklet included for more complex angles if needed. A nice, protective pouch to store it in and a good price. This would be my first choice if I ever need to replace it. Full Five stars.

Very nice product, but there are small quality control misses in the tool's and sheath's finish. (I would have provided photos to support this review, but ...)

Excellent tool-accurate, precise, easy handling, lazer engraved numbers easily read even for an “old dude “. I’ve been cutting molding and it fits very well thanks to bisected angles.

Built very well, thick and sturdy

Solid construction. Clear markings and instructions. Does what it’s designed to do. Takes the guesswork &/or math out of making accurate cuts.

This protractor is of solid construction and nicely made. It has been very helpful with projects so far. Very accurate measurements so your cuts are nice and tight. I totally recommend this tool and you can’t beat it for the price.

M'a permis de faire des coupes en réglant les deux inclinaisons de la scie (sur table) comme il le fallait. Sans cet outil - ou un outil similaire, cela m'aurait coûté beaucoup plus de temps pour un résultat moins bon. J'ai choisi cet outil car il ne nécessite pas de pile. C'est précis au degré près (pas plus... mais plus n'est pas nécessaire dans les projets que je mène). La "rigidité" de la rotation est bien calibrée: facile à mesurer, permet de déplacer l'outil pour lire la mesure sans la modifier au cours du déplacement. D'autres avis mentionnent la possibilité de régler avec la vis au dos: je n'ai pas essayé. Je n'ai utilisé que l'échelle "single cut", qui mesure l'angle pour réaliser la coupe en une seule pièce. Il y a également une échelle permettant de voir directement l'angle à donner pour assembler deux pièces (coupe d'onglet), mais je ne l'ai pas utilisée. J'aurais personnellement préféré n'avoir que l'échelle "single cut" et diviser par deux s'il le faut pour une coupe d'onglet... mais cela fera quand même sans doute plaisir à pas mal de monde. Bon achat, j'en suis content et je recommande - ne nécessitera pas d'entretien et restera longtemps dans ma caisse à outils.

This is one of those rare times when you are pleasantly surprised at the quality for the money. I bought this when fitting lots of skirting boards in our house as none of the corners are 90 degrees. It is metal and extremely well made with a very smooth action as you open and close it. The lettering on the face is also sharp and clear. The most important thing is it just works really well and lets you know instantly and accurately what degree you should be cutting your mitre joints. It also comes with a plastic pouch to keep it in, which is a nice bonus.

Well engineered and robust piece of equipment

I just received my mitre gauge. DO NOT BUY A CHEAPER GAUGE THIS ONE IS MINT! M First impressions, it’s obviously built very well, good weight to it, the gauge swivels tightly so you know it will stay accurate. It is accurate to every angle I have tested. Came with a cool case - I’m a sucker for putting tools away and this case is awesome for that. I would highly recommend anyone buying this, you are being a top quality product that will last a very long time.
