D'AddarioGuitar Strings - Pro-Arte Classical Guitar Strings - EJ45C - Nylon Guitar Strings - Silver Plated Wrap, Composite Core, Clear Nylon Trebles - Normal Tension

I have been playing my old Aria classical guitar for over 45 years. These strings are the best sounding that I have found. The treble and bass strings are very loud and the time is wonderful. I restrung a brand new Taylor JMSM Jason Mraz Signature Model with these strings and have made the guitar sound even better. The composite 3rd string sounds richer than the nylon version. It is cool that both 3rd strings are included in the set. I am a loyal believer in these strings and highly recommend them to all finger pickers with nylon string guitars.

More gentle on fingers

Great sound in the basses. Strings 1 and 2 are pretty normal. The G string is different material which produces a much better, richer tone. Somewhat like a wound string.

I restrung my classical guitar with this set. I've bought this brand before, but in this package, there are 2 G (#3) strings. One is clear nylon like the B (#2) and E (#1) string. The other is a composite string, still nylon looking, but beige, not clear. I used the composite G string. It sounds a bit richer than I remember after other restringings.One beef. The E (#6) string broke while I was tuning it. Probably my mistake, but I've done this dozens of times and never lost a string. I restrung my old E and i'll manage until i have to order another set.

Just fine.

These seem to have higher tension than regular EJ45 nylon strings even though they say normal tension . My fingertips were sore even after the first use. But they have a nice mellow tone with some additional brightness in comparison. I haven’t had them long enough to assess durability but they don’t seem fragile at all. My fingers will adapt I like them.
