Perfect for organizing paid bills

I was always losing important paper to which I needed to respond by a certain date. It was a stressor (I must have needed some excitement in my life!). These were important mailings, for example, my emissions certificate, required for my car tag and registration! The form I must return to the tax commissioner, showing the amount I owe! The check and form due IRS! Finally I sought out a "Ticker File”.This file has been a godsend. I leave it sitting out at all times. It is very sturdy and does not topple over! The numbered tabs, 1 — 30, stick up and are laid out at an angle for easy viewing. On the front I have a binder clip holding a brief list of the items coming up, as a quick double-check.I do not put my monthly or quarterly bills in this file, I use a bill organizer. I do not want the file overflowing as that would defeat the purpose: I want the items to stand out. I add a bright sticky note so I can see at a glance and from a distance, from its position / date in the file, that there is something I need to respond to. I use it only for urgent or unusual items I need to respond to, something I am likely to misplace, and it has been the answer for me -- after all these years!

just what I want to help organizing

I use the file for storing receipts for the year then keep them for seven years. The file is sturdy and expandable enough for my needs. This is the first file I ordered without a flap because the flap always seemed to get in the way.

I purchase one of these for each calendar year to file information on utility bills, finances, insurance info, etc. Then I file them away and purchase a new one for the upcoming year. They are very sturdy and hold a lot of papers.

I use this file to file all monthly bills, drs receipts, etc. so that at the end of the year they are easily accessible for tax purposes.

Love these Smead expanding files. They are sturdy and store away with my tax records easily each year. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the flap which some models have because I put them in my desk drawer and can easily open the top and drop my records into the slots.

I have used this product for years. Holds up well and expands to meet my needs.
