After sitting in the freezer for a few days, this was not at all pliable and difficult to put on. It needs to soften or it can be uncomfortable. I fractured my hip and the other ice packs and frozen peas just were not convenient like this. I wrap a kitchen towel over both sides to absorb the drips it creates. The kitchen towels are the perfect size. Make sure the fold faces down or this will drip on your upholstered seating. Ice pack stays cold a very long time and was still frozen after over 30 minutes. I love that I have mobility while using this. I plan to use it on my back next. It is, however, the perfect ice pack for a sore hip. There is ample length on the strap for comfortable adjustment. I also like the fact I don't have to constantly fill a bag with crushed ice over and over again. This ice pack can be frozen again for about an hour and is ready to use right away after initial use. It only needs to sit out after a day or so in the freezer to soften. This is so convenient that I believe I will find many other uses.

This has been the best product. Freezes easy and wraps around your leg and waste so you can walk around while icing your hip. Material is think but bends and contours to your body.

The ice pack is stiff when first put on, but it hits all the right places. It does “sweat” as it gets warmer but so far that hasn’t bothered me. It’s comfortable to wear. It freezes back up in a couple of hours. For the price, it was a good find! I’d give it 5 stars if the straps design was a little better and it didn’t “sweat”!

This ice pack is terrific!! I strapped it on my leg and went to bed. It relieved the pain in my hip and allow me to sleep all night. I highly recommend it if you want hip pain relief.

this is great for hip replacement surgery. coldness penetrates deep into joint and lasts awhile. the straps were perfect at first because i was just lying down. but now that im walking more the waist strap is a bit too stretchy or get stretched out easily. if i’m up walking around it keeps sitting lower and i keep having to tighten it up. velcro is strong though. overall good! 4.5 stars

Bought for my daughter post hip surgery. They do cool but they are too big for our purposes as we could easily have wrapped it around her hip and most of her back! Given they were for post surgery icing the straps were painful to use for her. On the positive they did freeze well but they were too big and too heavy esp for post op.

Great for hip replacement. Wrap around nicely to cover the areas of most soreness

These work in helping to quell my hip pain. They are extremely durable.
