A: It recommends one, but I had to use 2

**Q: Do I have to heat the milk?  I am using fresh milk straight from goat.**
A: The milk needs to be warm for the microbes to work. Also, I would exercise caution with unpasteurized milk

**Q: Hi, how many packages per 1 gallon of milk?**
A: Hi, I use one pack for 2 gallons of milk and the milk temperature must be 37 c if you use pasteurized milk heat the milk in low , after you add the rennet keep the milk in warm place and cover it with blanket to keep it warm for 8 hours.
