Informative monitoring…
Works as it should … purchased originally to gauge mobile device charging consumption, including a portable space heater (oil). Choosing this item was after watching a well-known YouTuber covering device charger reviews and this product was used as the test bench monitor. Only used a few times to see wattage consumption indicated. Will keep to use on other electrical devices in the future. Reasonably priced and works as it also has the ability to plug in other types of plugs.

Great Device
Works great. Nice quality. Fast shipping.

Not value in USA market.
Not designed for the USA market. Will not plug into a USA 240 volt recp. Will not accept a grounded extension cord with one wide plug prong. In other words it is worthless in the USA market.

Generally speaking works only with standard US 120v plug
I got this to monitor the power consumption of an appliance with a nema 5-20 plug. The contacts in the receptacle do not make contact with with the horizontally oriented blade of the nema 5-20 plug. I had to slightly modify the contacts by bending them to make contact but can't recommend others to attempt this as it is a fire hazard if not done properly. The receptacle worked fine with a standard 120v plug (nema 5-15). It will also not work with a nema 6-15 plug due to the same issues with the nema 5-20 plug. I live in the usa and can't test it with other international plugs. Tldr: works great with standard 120v plugs doesn't work with any other plugs found in the usa without potentially hazardous modifications to the socket to make proper contact with the blades of the plug.

Nice device to help measure power. I was quite amused using it with various devices.
I use it primarily to see how much power my devices are using. It also measures current, voltage frequency, kWh used and co2 emissions. Plus it has a backlit display so it's easy to see the screen.

Useful but clumsy. Good for oddball (non US-standard) plugs.
It does measure power and voltage quite well. The screen is easy to read as long as it's not in sunlight. And it works with high power outlets and international plugs, which many similar products don't. But its physical form factor is poorly built. It only fits into an outlet one way, and covers a large area around the outlet (e.g. the other plug in a dual outlet). In some places where I used it (measuring under the sink where a hot-water heater is plugged in) it could only be read upside-down. It would have been much better if it just came with a 6-inch extension cord between it and the power source. Then it would plug in anywhere, and the display orientation would be de-coupled from the plug orientation. If you want to use it outside the US, realize that the plug on the back of it is a 3-prong US plug, so you'll need a separate adapter to adjust it to the local outlets. The outlet on the front of it handles a myriad of different international plugs.

Melted
Used to measure the power from my 230v 1.5hp air conditioner and the plug melted to the power meter. Meter went dead. I had to cut plug off and install new plug. Ac works fine without meter. With meter ac would turn off and on. Defective?

Only one i could find and buy that supports 220v
It worked perfectly fine, got no complaints! Does everything it tells you it can do

The device worked okay and seems to take accurate measurements. But the build is very flimsy and the plug on mine was barely functional and required a lot of force to get the device plugged in to it. Not super impressed but it does work

Seems to work very well, the female plug holes seem to universal international fit, a bit weird
