## Questions & Answers

**Q: When is this product best applied**
A: After aeration so early spring is probably best though any time really

**Q: Will it break down clay soil**
A: Yes, but over time as it will encourage earthworms and adding in some organic matter will also help draw material and nutrients into the clay soil and over a period of 3 years it can go as deep as 1m, helping drainage and making soil a lot lighter and biologically very active

**Q: Is this peat free?**
A: There is no peat because this is not ”soil” as such. It is a conditionner and adds ”goodness” (fertiliser) to the soil you already have. It is not a growing medium as such. You add it to your soil to improve and feed it.

**Q: Will this help break up clay soil that's really hard and set?**
A: Good morning.
Yes, however this won't be an instant process, activearth will gradually break up clay soil over time in order to improve soil quality and drainage.
It is a long term solution.
I hope that helps with your query.
Kind regards,
Envii
