Fantastic Screen! Great seller. Would buy again (mid to high end theater build)
I ordered this screen for a mid-high end home theater build I’m doing, and this fits the bill perfectly. The shipping and product were spot on, seller is very supportive and proactively reached out to offer any support if anything came up (which isn’t even needed as it’s great). The screen was well packed and safe, instructions were clear and complete. Easy to assemble and install, no wrinkles at all, great clarity, nice velvety black frame, sturdy, easy to hang, and overall picture is fantastic. I got the 150” ALR gray in sable frame and it’s truly amazing to watch. I paired it with a Valerion Vision Master Max projector, and the combo is out of this world. Better than OLED/QLED TVs and it’s MASSIVE. Worth the price easily. Would buy again! Highly recommend! Great seller as well!

The image looks really good with the lights on or some light coming in
There are a lot of reviews on here, but more can't hurt. I purchased the 135 inch sable frame with cinegrey 3d. The room has 4 windows with inexpensive Walmart blackout curtains so there can be some light present. The image looks really good with the lights on or some light coming in. It looks excellent with the lights off. My wife commented that our screen looks better than the Screen Innovations model at the restaurant we visited earlier tonight. Assembly and mounting are pretty simple, although I can see how it could be tricky for a few people. Download the manual from the Elite website. The screen will stretch and you will probably want help mounting the wall brackets and hanging the screen. For the money this thing really looks great though. Attached is a 4k youtube video screenshot taken with the lights on and a screen shot from the Matrix with the lights off.

Wonderful picture, love my new screen
Took about 90 minutes to put together and install in my dedicated home theater room. Currently using a cheap projector until I can get my nice one from our previous home that we are selling. Even with a cheap projector, this screen looks great. Fantastic look without video running as well. The color and styling make the room look great whether in use or not. Cant wait to try my 3D projector on this to see how that looks as well.

110” beautiful screen!!
A little tedious to assemble. Took me a couple of hours. Nothing broken, missing, or bent. I would have designed the bottom wall mounts a little different as these hang below screen and are visible. I painted them to blend in with the wall. Overall, I am very pleased with screen!!

Many customers wrote a nice review and claimed that it took less than 15 minutes to build the screen but per my opinion it's a false claim. I have built 7 projector screens in last 4 years and this one was the worst to build. It took me roughly around 1 hour 20 minutes but something is just not right with the overall border frames and gray material itself. I am debating whether to ship the fully built screen back to Amazon or should I disassemble it and ship it back. I could be wrong but I feel that Amazon is not shipping the same products which shows on their website.

Happy with the Image and function of the screen, but ...
The odor. OMG. I want to say that it is decreasing after a week, I hope....!!!My whole house smells like a rubber / plastic/ pool toy that has been in the sun for awhile. Its strong and not a good smell.I think it is decreasing, but honestly I am not sure. I might just be getting used to it, unfortunately. Its not a good smell.

Works i guess, just doesnt work for me
150" 3D material... returned (for a reason)1st off, the screen color and brightness are awesome.. the ambient light rejection works as described for the most part.. construction/assembly is a fingertip damaging nightmare>definitely should be some type of "tab instal tool" developed.. my fingertips were numb/sprained for a week after assembly... lol.. smh..Instruction say there should be "2" support bars for anything over 135" but mine only had 1.. I assembled anyway and found that the right side bowed out from the wall - easy fix with a small bungie stapled to the wall and hooked to the frame..Another issue was that this material may be ambient light rejection but there is no "backing material" so after installing in front a of a window the picture would be washed out all day long until the sun dropped due to HEAVY rear light penetration.. again another fix I dealt with, purchased $80 worth of black vinyl to completely black out the back side.. unacceptable, should have been noted, maybe it was and I just didn't see it.. in any case I paid because I was excited about this screen getting completed..Now assembled and installed with bonus bungie and black out material..Here's the issue:I'm sitting 12-13' front of screen and the hot spot isn't a spot it's a full height section from any seat.. sitting left side=bright and fades right, sitting right side=bright and fades left, sitting center, you guessed it fades left and right...I found that only standing 15-17' back and further allowed complete color and brightness uniformity and boy did it look good from my back porch LOL... unfortunately I won't be sitting out there on movie night...Before I returned it today I tried different projector positions and brightness levels ALL MONTH: bright, sum, eco, normal, position: high, low, back, no help.. I even shrank the projected image down between 80" and 120" and still had hot spots and faded brightness to angles.. I gave it the full 29days of adjustment and viewing sources and just couldn't do.. price is on point but I just know that no matter what I'm watching I'm gonna be thinking about the color/brightness fading at angles.. so I had to return it.. which really sucks because I was so excited about this product after so video reviews I've watched and compared prices I've seen...Guess I'll will be now looking into the HIGH END products offered by SI BLACK DIAMOND products, see what the big deal is...guess i better start working some overtime $$$$$$EDIT:After looking into "SI BLACK DIAMOND", im not sure the view angle is gonna work either at somwhere around 60 degrees left/right. But i will have them come out and consult ASAP..I have also just yesterday (easter) emailed EPV for information regarding their DARK STAR 9 screen which i believe has 180 degree viewing angle..!waiting for them to reply with prices and availability..

Makes my screen visible in daylight without curtains. Amazing.
This thing is amazing. I picked a picture that I think will show you what you get in a bright room in broad daylight. No it's not perfect, but I have about 30 feet of windows ten feet high on the other side of the room. That's crazy impressive. The faded out parts are where a mirror is bouncing direct light onto it (I moved it after the photo. Mine is the 150" alr grey screen with a 4000 lumen projector. Also I had no bright spots like other people did. Also, I had no trouble with all the little springs, a small tool was included but I didn't need it.This whole screen... Smells like victory.

Good screen for the proce
The screen is very well packaged and labelled for assembly. The instructions are not the easiest to understand but I put it together by myself in about an hour. The process is a bit tedious, particularly weaving the grommets through the screen, but the little tool provided to install the springs made it easier. My partner helped me install the brackets and hang it on the wall as even with the support it is still a little floppy . Once all springs were installed, the screen was taught, no wrinkles and I did not have any colour distortions in the material. There were multiple notices provided stating that there could be the appearance of smudges on the material but I did not have any on mine. Installed on the wall , the screen seems stable with the rackets. I have an Epson 3800 projector and there is some ambient light in the room but the darks stay dark and I do not notice any difference in light colours. Very happy with this purchase at this price for my home theatre setup.

Excellent Ambient Light Rejection Capabilities but Minor MFG Defects
I purchased and installed the 100” CineGrey 3D screen. The assembly was very straight forward and I was really impressed with the design, quality and packaging of the product (everything was packaged very well to prevent damage during shipment). The screen ambient light rejecting performance is exceptional compared to my previous white screen - the screen is installed in a very large rec room, that is well lit and painted white and there is no issue with using the projector in the day time with the blinds open. However, one negative comment that I will make is with regards to smudges / stains on the screen material that are deemed normal and as part of the manufacturing process as per Elite Screens. Upon assembly and use I observed several large “smudges/stains” that are very apparent and continuously distracting during scenes with bright backgrounds (I.e. while watching ice hockey games). However, I believe that the ALR technology out weighs these defects so I am happy with my selection.

Horrible shipping experience.
I ordered this during a Black Friday sale at about half price. The shipment I received was literally only 2 pieces of the frame in a box that clearly indicated it was only a portion of the full order. Amazon made me wait a few days to “see if the rest shows up” before they would engage with any sort of support. Obviously the rest never showed up. By the time I was able to speak with someone, they weren’t willing to replace the order, only issue a refund. In which time the sale price was over. I waited for a less ideal sale on Boxing Day. Item received in full this time. Installed it. Looks ok. The image quality is a minor upgrade to the cheap non-alr grey PVC screen I’ve been using for the past 5 or 6 years. A lot of the quirks and shortcomings detailed in reviews of the Cinegrey 3D material online are legit and you can weigh them against what you can personally tolerate. Build quality is nice, and setup is straightforward if not a bit tedious. If you can get it at half price, I’d say it’s a decent value and worth the cost. Just be aware that you may not receive what you order and might waste a ton of time dealing with it.
