GUND Stitchie 14" Bear Plush

I'd had my eye on this (not quite so) little guy for some time and finally decided to get him!I was thinking he'd be a deeper brown like in the photo, but I think it's just a trick of the light, he's more on the golden/tan side.He can't sit up on his own, which I figured since they have him sitting on a platform, but it's okay since I always prop everyone up with pillows.He's got some of those plastic little beads in his bottom (like beanie babies), which does help him sit up on his own if on a slight incline.As you can see, he fits right in! And he's a great cuddle buddy. You can squeeze him really tight and he still retains his shape and fullness. He's wonderful and round and soft and I adore him :) He looks a little "bare" though, especially sitting next to his new brothers. I may need to get him a tie or a ribbon of some sort soon. lolHe feels like he'd tear easily if you were too rough with him, and this style of teddy bear that's made with the loose polyester fibers might not be the greatest gift for younger kids. Machine washing them can be risky, so if they get dirty you'll need to hand wash. But I think he'd be great for anyone who collects, or the responsible little one that you know will treasure and take good care of him.

We love that little brown bear. We bought it as a present for our grand daughter's 3rd birthday. Besides being all of the things that a little brown bear should be, i.e. cuddly, soft, quiet (mostly) this little bear goes way deeper than that. This particular bear is named Randolph and is one of the key characters in the book "Miss Maya and the Bridge to Everywhere." I just finished writing the book. There are witches, warlocks, magicians, angels and all sorts of stuff. As part of all of this Randolph becomes an "Angelic Assistant" and along the way gets changed into a griffin (not permanently). So, as you can see, there is a lot more to this little bear than being cuddly and cute. Maya is our grand daughter's name and along with her best friend Bits and Randolph, they get involved in all sorts of adventures. Volume two is being thought of as I write this. This will be my sons second Stitchie since 2013. Now before you go thinking that Gund has made a faulty bear, let me explain. Stitchie is a warrior. My son was 4 when he first received this bear. The adventures that they have been through are endless. Sadly our champion has seen some truly rough times. This year he sat valiantly at my sons side while he went through the flu. Poor Stitchie however did not make it out unscathed. He was victim of vomit, and nothing that just "surface washing" could cure. Alas he does not look the same these days. Machine washing took his fluff away and left him looking flat & matted down. I cannot imagine a day in which my son does not have Stitchie with him, so this second bear will be unknown to him. He will magically become soft, clean, and perfectly lovable again, with my little one none the wiser!Stitchie is the perfect little bear companion to drag around. He is soft, durable, and even has some beans in his bottom for a little weight. Of all my child's Gund bears & other stuffed animals, Stitchie is by far his favorite.

A long tradition in my family--Grampy gives grandchild a teddy. In this case, Grandma shopped for teddy so that Grampy can gift granddaughter her teddy. I still have my teddy, he has been a well-loved and appreciated by me, my children, and one dog who chewed and consumed half an ear. So, with over 60 years of loving one just one teddy, I turned to Amazon and found this sweet little guy. He is as soft and squishy as he looks and his face and expression are irresistible! He is a little bit smaller than I expected, but I should have looked at a yardstick before ordering. Actually, I think that he is the perfect size; he will be a hefty enough for a 2 year old, anything larger would be too much teddy!

It was my birthday so my daughter bought me this she thought it was smaller but oh well she did not think I would like it .When it came to my birthday she gave me this along with another gift I loved it it was perfect the round softness in the cute plushy’s with the cute face it was perfectly adorable I really suggest that you get this though the price might be high this might be worth it. I even sleep with it me and my daughter take turns I just love this design but can anybody tell me what the fur is made out of? It is absolutely perfect!

I have a teddy bear collection. I probably have 25 or so bears. My new bear, whom I named Truman, fits in perfectly. My collection includes a miniature, fully articulated, Steiff bear, which was given to my mom when she five. That would have been 1928. Truman is a great addition to my collection.

The bear was a little smaller than I had envisioned, but not so small that it's embarrassing to give as a gift. Super soft fur and cute shade of brown. Perfect for dressing up and making unique. My biggest complaint is that the nose looks a bit off center. But there lies beauty in flaws, and looks every bit as adorable as it would with a perfectly centered nose. Hope my girlfriend loves it as a Christmas gift.

The softest, squishiest, most cuddly Teddy Bear EVER! My coworker's grandson absolutely loves this bear. This Teddy Bear can be washed on gentle and dried on air fluff or hand wash, spin him in the washer to get out the excess water and tumble dry on air fluff or gentle. His eyes are secure so no problem with your kiddo chewing on him. His nose is stitched on so no choking hazard there. Great quality Teddy Bear for the money.
