The 1:8 ratio makes it very difficult to nearly unusable to crank by hand. If you put the crank handle on the 1:1 shaft it contacts the 1:8 shaft. Also I had to rig up the pully system shown in the picture to be able to guide the wire onto the takeup spool because the take up spool turns the wrong direction. It should rotate the opposite direction that it does based on the location of the counter and the orientation of the crank handle. ## Frequently Bought Together - Manual Coil Winder, Dual Purpose Hand Coil Winding Machine with Counter 0-99999 - BNTECHGO 28 AWG Magnet Wire - Enameled Copper Wire - Enameled Magnet Winding Wire - 4 oz - 0.0122" Diameter 1 Spool Coil Red Temperature Rating 155℃ Widely Used for Transformers Inductors - Emtel 18 AWG - 1 lb (202 feet) 99.9% Pure Copper Wire, Enameled Magnetic Wire for Motor, Transformer, Magnetic Coil, & Electroculture Gardening, Winding Magnet Wire - 220°C (428°F) Thermal Class --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/190798668-manual-coil-winder-dual-purpose-hand-coil-winding-machine-counter](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/190798668-manual-coil-winder-dual-purpose-hand-coil-winding-machine-counter) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-12*
