Very useful and by far the easiest to open and refill with acrylic paint color of your own choice

These are a wonderful painting tool!! If for nothing else but to sign your canvasses, I highly recommend these markers, and not the other popular brand. Do note that if you are unfamiliar with mixing acrylics, I recommend that you use a good quality high flow acrylic like the new line Golden offers when filling your markers. And be warned, when you get the hang of these, you will want to buy 30 more. They are great for highlighting, finishing touches and quick fixes. They are amazing. I do not know what I did without these. I love them. Pro-tip: add a little water or diluted flow-release (read label.) Then let the marker sit for 10-30 minutes before using it. Pump it 5-10 times first and put it in a vertical canister tip down. After it sits for a half hour or so, it works so much better. Pump it less if your paint is more watery, pump it more if it is thick. Also, pump it on a sketch pad or something before you use it on your work. I still make the mistake of pumping it on the canvas when I am in a big rush and I create more work for myself. Not fun. Pumping it on the canvas increases the chances of having the marker paint bleed out onto your canvas. I have tried the Montana brand and their finer nib and they are not easy to use and they do not work well. The flow isn't continuous like it is on these markers. These markers get hairy/fibrous after prolonged use and that's the only downside. If they'd sell some replacement nibs in large amounts that would be lovely. Great product overall!

Great to carry with your colored pencils to have easy access to blending medium such as mineral spirits and it's refillable.

My favorite paint marker of all the others I’ve tried

Used with Angelus Paint 2-Thin 1 Oz and Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint Starter Kit to paint a motorcycle jacket. I have been painting jackets for nearly 20 years and have tried various types of paint and paint pens. With this pen I was able to easily paint detailed lines and blend my own custom colors. I would give it 5 stars were it easier to fill, I had to use a hypodermic needle as the eye dropper, pipette, and turkey baster all proved too unwieldy, clumsy, or too big to fill. If used with a thinner paint, or ink, it may be easier to fill.

Aunque en lugar de mandarme el 311EM, que es el que yo pagué, me mandaron el 111EM que es más pequeño y barato, me alegro porque la punta que trae es mas fina y me soluciona mejor el problema, así que todos contentos, ellos ganan más y to tengo mejor solución. Les daría 5 estrellas pero me veo obligado a quitarles dos por no prestar atención al pedido o por querer ganar más, una de dos, yo no lo sé.

Amazing i put army painter speed paint in mine and it comes out so smooth and clean on the model its euphoric, dont fill up to the top leave like 2cm so it doesnt overflow when you put the top on
