6 days of camping
I purchased the Yeti 200x to break into solar for camping. I paired it with the Nomad 50. The Yeti was smaller and lighter than I expected. The Nomad 50 charged it well, even on cloudy days or through the tree canopy. I added a 4 pack of lights, 2 crush lights, and 2 usb flashlights. It powered and charged wonderfully. 10 of us camped for 6 days with an rc car and drone, a laptop for a couple movie nights, and a few phones and bluetooth speakers for music. The Yetti never went below 30% and the Nomad 50 made short work, 5 hours of through the tree canopy charging. It felt good to camp without the cost and waste of disposable batteries. I am going to purchase a Boulder 50 to mount at my home and use the Yetti to power my modem and my wife's work from home 2 monitor work station in case the power goes out, she can still work. It is good to think that I captured the sunlight and used it later through the flashlights. Goal Zero knows what they are doing.

No regrets - A very good purchase!
When I initially purchased the Goal Zero Nomad 50 foldable solar panel set, I wasn't very knowledgeable about solar panels. However, I am now extremely pleased with my investment. As someone working in Emergency Management, I use this panel as a reliable backup power source in my work go-bag, and I pair it with the Goal Zero Sherpa 100AC Power Bank for maximum efficiency. One of the things I appreciate most is its versatility. During festivals or outreach events, I simply hang it from the corner of a tent, allowing it to recharge or power my electronics with ease. It wasn’t until a year later that I discovered it had adjustable legs on the back, which allow for multiple angles to capture optimal sunlight—an excellent feature I now utilize often. The foldable design is another plus, as it packs into a compact and tight package, fitting perfectly in my roll-away bag. I purchased it on sale and, after over a year of use, I have no regrets. This panel has proven to be a reliable and efficient power solution, and I highly recommend it for anyone needing a portable and effective solar panel setup. However, one drawback to note is the limited connection options. Since I bought it over a year ago, it only includes USB and 8mm cannon male and female connections (three options). I hope future iterations incorporate the XT60i connector for more flexibility and compatibility with newer power systems. Despite this, it remains a solid product that I am very satisfied with.

Excellent for SUV or Cars with large dashboards
Excellent for SUV or Cars with large dashboards. Coupled with a Yeti power box 200x or larger it can keep a small freezer in any vehicle powered all day.

50 Watts of Solar Power
i purchased this item to power my Yeti 500x. It delivers up to 50 watts of solar power. It is a little heavier than I expected. But can easily be transported along with the Yeti to wherever it is needed. It also charges other Goal Zero products like the Sherpa 100AC.

You need this if you have a solar generator.
Wow. This item rocks! I can use this one item to quickly recharge my Yeti 150, 200, or 400 without the need to combine my other 3 panels. The price was excellent. The performance and portability are excellent.
