My 89 year old dad lives with us now ,even with the best organisation in the world ,I need to leave him alone at some point most days to do simple everyday stuff like shopping , appointments and paying bills etc. Looked around for a simple easy affordable solution and found this and it was on offer at the time. I bought it with some trepidation as almost all these things that say easy install ,simple installation etc but for me very rarely are. I followed the instructions as I always do and it pretty much set itself up ,the one surprise was I had to manually enter my WiFi details as my recent Amazon fire tv and Luna controller both detected it automatically and i had already linked this camera to my Amazon account. Chose the annual payment plan for one camera via Amazon currently £24.99 a year great value. I've only got it set up very basically at the moment ,very pleased and surprised with the picture quality and the sound for such a small ,good value item is perfectly acceptable , it'll do the job. Still playing with it but for including the purchase and basic annual subscription total of under £45 quid the added security and peace of mind is worth that at least all day long. I can only highly recommend this item.

Originally we only had one pan title camera at home, but when we moved we enjoyed the functionality of the pan tilt so much that we have 3. They are in place to provide additional security but mainly we ha e them to check in on our cats when we are out for longer periods. You can talk to your pets (or potential intruders) through the app. We dont use that function but what the pan tilt enable us to do is a 360° rotation and search from floor to ceiling from our phones. All of our cameras appear in the app so we can easily move between them. The picture quality is good. You can zoom in if required. There is a little blue light that comes on when someone is veiwing through the cameras. We agree not to spy on each other at home but you would know if someone were watching anyway. These cameras link to home wifi and then blink servers. Just a fantastic piece of mind item that are easy to install and very functional (they can be set up to record footage that is motion detected and they effortlessly switch to night mode when light levels are too low for normal footage. We have them pluged into mains. Only thing that could improve them would be slightly longer power leads for a bit more flexibility but that said the ones we have high, still reach to the lower plug sockets we have.

Hardware wise this gets 5 stars. Setup was very easy, the video quality in both day and night modes is excellent and the pan and tilt works flawlessly. So why not 5 stars? It's the Ebenezer scrooge levels of penny pinching the app does, specifically in my use case having to pay for a subscription to get thumbnails on video clips. A deliberate artificial block in the app that wasn't present when I first bought my blink system. This makes browsing through saved clips a chore as you have no idea what triggered them without playing each one. I can understand charging for cloud storage but this costs amazon nothing as i have the blink local storage/network thingy. The photo snapshot is also paywalled. Disgraceful behaviour that sours the entire system that is otherwise excellent. So 5 stars for the camera and a loud BOOO for the miserly app.

impressive for the discounted price. Seamless to setup. Connects fast over wifi and over remote data connection. Very good low light and night time video quality. Used to monitor cat and with the tilt and pan function so easy to do so. Overall a neat little camera with easy to use functions via the Blink app ( works with all existing older model Blink devices too) and for the half the retail price a no brainer

My beautiful Lab had a very big operation and came home after 3 daysand nights in the vets. She came home and I had to keep her calm quiet and watch her if she needed to get up. Blinkmini pan tilt camera is a god send, I'm 75 and this did the watching and if she moved it alerts you and any noise. You can watch on the app alnight and in colour and in real-time. It saved me from worring and I had the peace of mind as if I was in the room with her. Truthfully I didn't think it would be much good because of the very low price, how wrong was I, the Blink is easy to use and absolutely brilliant, I can even talk to her. This would be great to check on everything while your out.

Don’t need a paid subscription. Quality is good and remote movement is very useful. Night vision works well. The setup easy and clear. AI mode can be bought with a subscription which saves clips of movements throughout the day.

DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!! I wish now I'd looked at reviews first, but I've always had a very good experience buying on amazon previously I didn't check this out diligently enough. I received it 8th October 2025 and set it up about a week later (with a lot of help from my tech-savvy son who wasn't impressed) and have had nothing but problems from the start. It's slow in everything! It won't allow switching from clip to live view despite having a button. It doesn't fulfill two-way communication EVER! It doesn't produce a clip of the designated time set It records no movement Live view sound is intermittant Live view visual is glitchy beyond belief Live view visual shows more pink blocks green blocks pixelation and barcode-like images over more than half screen Live view zoom does the above as well Sound is more off than on I could go on, but suffice to say I consider this to be the absolute WORST thing I've had the misfortune to purchase. The product has the potential to be fantastic but with so many glitches it is simply N O T F I T F O R P U R P O S E And should be reported to trading standards as such. Please DO NOT BUY. IF IT WERE POSSIBLE THERE WOULD BE NO STARS AWARDED. THIS IS A MINUS STAR PRODUCT THAT SHOUKD BE REMIVED FROM THE MARKET IMMEDIATELY DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY AMAZON you need to withdraw this and really look at all the faults... sort them out too many years with nothing changed. The frustration and vexation of spirit and stress is off the charts. Sort it!!!!!!!
