and it is very comfortable. Although I have no way to quantify it
This headset seems a little priceyconsidering that it feels rather lightweight, but it works very well with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to dictate notes and letters almost every day, and it is very comfortable. Although I have no way to quantify it, I would say that this headset produces the best accuracy I have ever had with Dragon, and I have been using it for a number of years. Currently I am using Dragon naturally speaking 13 on a Lenovo laptop with an i7 processor, 8 gigs of RAM, and a solid-state hard drive.

Good product
This item works. It is a usb mic. It only works on my left ear. It is pretty cheaply made but I have dropped it a few times and it still works

Excellent product - works in Win10 and Linux Mint 21
This USB microphone from Amazon is an excellent product. It is plug and play in Windows 10 and also in Linux Mint 21. You just plug it in and it'll work in the program assigned. You may have to give it permission in Windows 10. also recall that to dictate in Gmail you have to add an extension called dictation for Gmail and then restart Chrome browser to make it effective.Nuance Dragon USB HeadsetI have used Dragon NaturallySpeaking dictation for several years and have been only modestly Satisfied by the accuracy and speed. Now I am using a Nuance Dragon USB headset ($35) but with Google Sheets which means we're using the Google online Dictation engine for the dictation. This is not only, faster but more accurate than my purchased dragon NaturallySpeaking dictate program. To use any of these products, you need to have an effective Microphone headset which will accurately input your voice to the computer systems. The Nuance Dragon headset for $35 is a very effective tool to input either Dragon dictate or Google dictate accompanied by Google Sheets.Sincerely,Vince

Junk, Not Worth It and Not Needed Anyway
I ordered these in May to use with Dragon speech recognition software on my laptop. The headset broke in June, right after the return window closed. I can't put it on my head any longer, so I hold the mic up to my mouth -- but I discovered that the software works better without the headset anyway, so I'm trashing them. DO NOT BOTHER to buy this piece of useless junk.

Useful but uncomfortable
USB connection wire was ample enough to allow minor pacing at my desk. And see actually works to keep fan sounds from broadcasting through the mic. Retention pad has no padding and in order to have enough tension to keep it on my head the pinching is very uncomfortable.

Multi-purpose
I use these headphones with nuances dragon dictation software. they work perfectly fine and there are no issues with compatibility, because they are nuances headphones. The best feature of these headphones are they can easily from being left ear to right ear with the microphone able to swing 180°. For those days when you're one year gets tired and you need to use the others. The tower where I plug into is on the floor, the cord is long enough that I can roll about 2 ft back from the desk and still have freedom from not the yanking them off my head.

Replacement headset
I bought this as a replacement headset for my Dragon software. The first headset, and the one that came with the software, disintegrated when I put it on last week. It seems that everything fell apart at once. This one is a bit different style so I am hopeful it will work out. A couple of things I noticed though. I tend to wear the ear piece high on my ear, but that means the microphone dips too far down. So I've made the headpiece a little larger, moved the earpiece down a bit and it puts the microphone just where it needs to be. The other thing is that the microphone bar, I guess you could call it, is very loose. It only has one position and cannot be adjusted. This doesn't bother me too much, but I realized it might bother other purchasers, so I wanted to make sure I mentioned it.Overall, it appears to be working well.
