Since this set came with so many, I also will be using them for staples to hold down my landscape fabric when I redo that area. I'm getting a bad mole problem and i'm going to pound these staples into the mounds and uplifted tunnels. I don't know if they will help but can't hurt anything. These gems don't look like they'll rust. I am so happy I ordered them. They don't rust after two or three seasons and need to be replaced. They are twice as long so they don't keep popping out of the ground. They are sturdy and don't bend easily so I can pound them in with a mallet if I have to. The ends are pretty sharp, so they go into the ground easily. I'm sold.
