Knee Brace with Straps

......the sizing has nothing to do with shoe size, but is the circumference from around the back of your heel and over the top and widest part of the front of your ankle. The picture on the Size Chart is showing a yellow circle measuring the “Arch circumference”, which is NOT the same (and generally smaller) than the heel/ ankle circumference!I bought a pair exactly the same from a different company, which were dearer and did not have the bonus ankle strap. I’d ordered a Medium from them, as my heel/ ankle circumference is 12”/ 30cm and although they are a perfect fit, I felt I could do with slightly more compression to support my injured Achilles at present, during activity. I kept those Medium size, as they are seriously comfortable for when I need less support and have worn them overnight, with no negative effects on my circulation and no swelling.However, everyone’s anatomy is different and if you naturally have “thick” ankles or swollen feet, your fit will be different from mine. If you have “skinny” feet and ankles, you may be able to go down a size, if you fall into the mid/ lower end of “your size” on the size chart.This pair, a size Small, from Modetro Sports, is a perfect for that firmer support I need around my Achilles. They are just exactly the same fabric/ style as my other ones but as I said, cheaper and have the bonus ankle strap for extra support if required.The fabric is good quality and well made, has a decent stretch for putting on and taking off (I have arthritis in both thumbs), a medium thickness and nice and soft against the skin.My two pairs in two sizes, gives me a choice of how much compression I need for whatever activity and it’s good to have that choice as feet and ankles can swell due to health problems, heat or being on your feet for long periods.If youThe ones from Modetro Sports are extremely good value and I would not hesitate in recommending them for recovery and rehabilitation after an Achilles injury, but please note that they are not a substitute for any rigid devices as prescribed by your Physio, which should be worn until you get the Okay 👍

I've been using a brace with straps to help with my arthritic knee, this allowed me to do my daily 8/10 km walks with only mild discomfort but was looking for something less bulky.After a great deal of deliberating and reading of countless reviews I finally decided to give this knee sleeve a try.My thigh measured 49 cm and I went for a large to give more compression.The product is made of good quality materials but did start bobbling during/after first use ,this has not got any worse and is easy to ignore.I have been using it daily for the past week on a mixture of tarmac and woodland paths and have found the sleeve to be very good at supporting my knee and also giving great stability and compression. The only downside has been that it rolls and slips down. [ with the straps coming to rest on or just above my knee cap at the front and worst of all into the flesh at the back of my knee, which is very uncomfortable.] Hence the 3 stars for comfort. If the rolling /slipping was to be sorted out it would be 4.5 / 5 product.

Absolute life safer. Very effective, well fitted and really well made knee brace. Works well for running and full day wearability. Does not restrict movements and most importantly really helps with pain management. Absolute wonder. It tends to roll during intensive workouts but even then provides full support

This is a FIVE STAR review. I've put it amongst the three's because it's where I tend to look if I'm checking for negativity on a product when making comparisons prior to purchase. There appears to be ZERO NEGATIVITY WITH THIS PRODUCT. This cleverly designed knee brace is giving great support to my recently seriously injured knee, I'm currently waring it all day and all night 24/7 and it is totally comfortable the whole time and without gathering behind the knee due to the anti slip prevention built into it's well thought out design. I initially tried to manage through the night without the brace but found that it left my injured knee very weak, vulnerable and susceptible to pain each time I repositioned throughout the night. I find his particular knee brace very fairly priced, cleverly designed, simple to put on and adjust into position, once positioned it copes with all the natural movement of the leg day or night and it stays exactly in place until you physically remove it. It's also made of very substantial material that has a natural ability to comfortably conform to the wearers shape without slipping and is of a pleasing choice of colour that doesn't appear to shout "hey look at me I've hurt my leg" when being worn with shorts. Finally, with correct sizing upon initial ordering, due to the unique ability of this particular knee brace to remain perfectly in place during activity, I imagine it would be of great interest to not only those with old or new knee injuries but also that of regular keep fit gym users male or female that feel they would like some extra support whilst working-out.
