Traction boards are built better than ably other brand out there! These could handle anything you throw at them. Would buy again!

These are amazing, easy to transport and use and very strong and reassuring to have on board. These can be hard to find even at Maxtrax’s own website, so very glad to have found them on Amazon before a 3,000 mile winter road / dirt road trip.

Got stuck in deep mud on my property, had to call a friend with a farm tractor to get extricated. Bought these MaxTrax Xtremes, got stuck 2 more times, but was able to self extricate with these with no problems at all. Highly recommended especially if you might get stuck in a remote location where immediate assistance is unavailable. I recommend keeping a few large (55 gal or larger) garbage bags in your vehicle to store these in until you can clean them after use. You can mount them on most vehicles, but I don't have the mounts.

Had to use them only a few months after purchase! Took truck on the dunes, son got it stuck. Sadly no photos of rescue but these did it! After freeing the truck, they got buried in the sand. The little strap let us find and pull them up. Super ez.

Regular Mk2 maxtrax are good but wear quickly with tire spin. These did 3 recoveries today with no wear. Slight tire spin and only discoloration. These made a great product better. Only down side is the rediculous cost for importation from Australia.

I’ve had cheaper versions for a couple of years which got badly chewed up. These are much higher quality, solid studs and really makes the vehicle pop up out of snow or mud. They are sturdy and way heavier than cheap knock offs as well. I also sometimes park on them to level the vehicle for RTT camping and no issues. They are not warping etc. Mine arrived without the leash / straps to help you find/pull them out of the ground; I messaged the seller and the sent some in the mail straight away. Good service.

It doesn't matter where you go looking, most if not all sources will say these are the best of the best - if a bit pricey - on the market. They do what they claim to do, and they do it well!

Beefy recovery boards. You get what you pay for

Tough robust design. Arrived as expected. Does what it says on the tin. Very handy for solo travel.
