This is my go to belt when I don’t buy gates. When I was tech this what we used so you can’t go wrong.

Works great on my 1999 Saab 9-3 convertible! No slipping or squeaking of any kind with this belt. Very happy with the construction, as it appears and feels better than other belts I've dealt with (duralast).Make sure you clean your pulleys prior to installation, and you avoid touching the belt with greasy hands.

I purchased this dayco poly-rib belt for our 1999 Saab 9-3 vehicle. I picked this belt for the quality as it is a bit more pricey than others but rated better. So far, it has held up well. I recommend 2 people installing this belt on a 9-3 as it is one of the more difficult drive belts I have done. One trick is to make sure the belt is centered well in all of the lower pulleys and also on the idler pulley but just off the upper left-hand pulley before pulling on the tensioner. While one person is pulling the other person can slip on the belt and make sure the belt is centered on all pulleys. This seemed to work the best for me.

I just put it on but it replaced a 1 year old gates belt that would not stop making noise. I have had dayco in the past but gates was always cheaper and easier to find even with the dayco sales center only 2 miles from home LOL.
