So good I purchased the Kindle addition after purchasing the hard copy to have it around always.
I have read every training book at there and this one is the best. I first purchased the book directly from Tom's website. After starting to read it I at first thought that some sections were a little thin in content. After reading the entire book I went back and began reading sections a second time, then a third time. Why? Because he has provided so much useful info in these pages that you need to work it slowly like a college textbook. This is a book that makes you think, plan and helps you execute you training to be better cyclist. It rewards you when you do some homework to bring his (and her) ideas to life. I'm not a racer, just an older guy looking to improve and there is so much here to help someone who is serious about becoming a better cyclist. Racer or not. His four form pillars of fitness, execution, nutrition and focus give u multiple ways to become a better cyclist in each form area. Each area provides so much info, such as your body positioning. you will most likely keep going over sections time and time again. The focus pillar provides tools and processes to better handle the mental aspects of the sport of cycling or for other life matters as well. I found myself so interested in the books content and there was so much useful info to think about and use that I purchased the Kindle addition a week or so after receiving my signed copy. The Danielson's have written a tremendous volume of info on cycling training. You can not go wrong with picking up a copy and devouring what's inside.

Wish I had this to read when I got started cycling!
This the one book I would recommend to anyone looking learn more about how to train better and taking their performance to the next level. It's not just about the workouts, Tom gets into the mindset, nutrition, positioning and so many other details that add up to making you get better as a cyclist. He does an exceptional job explaining it all and how to make it work. It will be hard to not want to coach with him after reading this.I've been coaching with Tom for several months now and I can say as great as cyclist as Tom was as a pro and is now, he is even more incredible as a coach. This is what he was meant to do. There are tons of programs and coaches out there, but nothing as dialed in as CINCH or as motivating and energized as Tom is seeing people improve. He keeps your workouts challenging & fun, knows how far to push you and is always coming up with creative ways to keep you challenged. He really has transformed coaching and learning from him has been an incredible experience.

Great training book
Highly recommend book. It does great job of providing comprehensive program you can use to improve your cycling ability. From a pure training perspective, the book outlines how to determine the type of rider you are and how to use that information for training. It covers how to determine your training zones and how to use that information building a training plan. For me, what makes the book a standout is how it integrates nutritional, exercises (plyometrics) and mental training into the training program. The nutritional section helps you build a plan to properly fuel yourself on and off bike based on demands of your training and racing. I found the sections on improving your mental approach to be very insightful and useful.

Highly Recommend
Great book, best training book I’ve read in years. Other Cycling training books often leave you feeling defeated after only a few pages. Cycling in Form is realistic, honest, frank and most importantly encouraging and positive. Tom’s perspectives and insights priceless.

This Book Will Transform You
This book is incredible and very well written! So many books, blogs, videos, etc on cycling that I have been consuming cover some good information and guidance, but no one has taken every aspect of cycling, raised them to a whole other level and put it into one book. And, then correlate all of those various aspects as one complete thing. We are talking mental state, body position, nutrition, power zones (not traditional), power control, transformation, and more! The transformation section alone is worth reading, even if you aren’t a cyclist. I’ve learned so much about myself as a rider and how to ride well both physically and mentally. I’ve heard the same from other cyclists in the club I’m in, it has greatly impacted them on many levels. Once you have had your mind blown, Tom has provided a 56 day workout plan in the back of the book to get you started on being a better cyclist. I really couldn’t recommend this book more!

Brings training to the real world. Forget riding to FTP and train strategically to your strengths
If you want to improve your performance and love for cycling, I highly recommend giving this a read..I greatly appreciate how Tom D. brings the real world of cycling to training and focus. It's not your FTP that dictates your performance, but how well you learn to manage your efforts, strategy and mindset, not only on the bike but in life . I've been cycling at different levels for over 30 years and wish I had trained more strategically. For two months I've been applying Tom's 11 zone methodology and really starting to strengthen weakness and shift how I ride/race and loving it. I'm also not over trained and able to ride more, and stronger.
