All of the MOVA globes are beautiful! I have purchased three different sizes in various designs - Van Gogh Starry, starry night, blue and gold globe and this globe.

Looks great, works great. Nothing else like it.

Cool little item that rotates in sunlight

Ok, so here's how this works: The globe is encased in a liquid filled clear plastic sphere, same as the compasses they used to put in the back of cheap survival knives. The globe itself rotates inside the fluid filled sphere when exposed to sunlight (by magic, or physics, whichever you prefer), but because the plastic sphere is so thin, it appears the globe is just sitting there rotating on the 3 clear plastic supports. Very interesting piece of art and a definite conversation starter.

Very nice globe but should have been updated with Gulf of America. Unfortunately, I was told due to names constantly changing, they only update their globes every 10 years. It’s a bit pricey to not be accurate and their customer service wasn’t too friendly or helpful.

I first saw a globe in an office of a person I meant and fell in love with MOVA Globes. Their globe worked with their office lighting. When I first set my new globe up, it didn't work with the light I had, which was very low energy (energy saving) lighting. I bought a cheap (but good looking clamp) led lamp and the MOVA Globe works just fine. It really depends on the light source. The light accents the globe. The USB plug I use, uses 1 amp and powers the globe just fine. I am thinking of buying more globes. It is one of those things, just like watching fish in a fish tank, a real stress reliever.

Sits on my office desk and gets tons of compliments. I first saw a Mova globe at a fancy boutique store here in Raleigh NC, and love them! Would be great for an executive or kid alike. (A kid that could sit it on their desk and not pick it up too much.)

Ich habe diese Kugel zum 25. Hochzeitstag geschenkt.. als Symbol, Sie ist sehr hochwertig, und in meinen Augen wirkt sie wirklich sehr, sehr edel. Und dreht sich langsam je, nachdem das Licht einfällt oder schneller. Einzig und allein den Glassockel habe ich ersetzt, durch einen Marmorsockel. Sehr schön anzusehen. Ich hätte sehr gern diese Hand gehabt, die mit dem Globus abgebildet ist. Leider konnte ich sie nirgendwo finden. Vielleicht hat jemand einen Tipp für mich, wo ich diese Hand herbekomme?
