Firstly, I had to hide how much this cost from my wife... when I bought it. That was a the beginning. Then she tried it, and had no problems with the cost! It's supper comfortable - in fact, we move it into the lounge when we have movie nights, so everyone can sit comfortably. Ok, it is quite heavy and large. But I've tried the competition... the ones that you can fit in a rucksack... and they just don't compete. It's perfect to take to the kids cricket game, and sit for hours (it also shields you from the sides). We ended up leaving it outside, and it was the garden chair everyone wanted to sit in. My parents have bought one, on my recommendation. Tips - to put down, grab the back top and pull up until it starts bending in, then do one side at a time. And put it upside down to put the bag on (keeping the chord out of the way as you pull it down).

This is excellent quality. It is easy to fold and unfold, fitting comfortably into the supplied carrier. It is a dream to sit on, being comfortable and supportive even after a few hours. It is reassuringly robust and stable, with a wide seat that can accommodate my sizeable brother in law, without squeezing his thighs. However, be aware that it is bigger and heavier than ordinary picnic chairs. I would not like to carry it any distance, so it is one to transport in the back of the car rather than to take on a long hike.

Had it two years with regular use and no defect. Comfortable and resistant to elements. Good if you are plus sizes. It’s pricy. But this is a case when paying a bit more is worth it for longevity and comfort, for me at least. Zero regrets forking it over. I expect to be using this for the rest of my life. I use it regularly as garden and shed furniture not infrequent trips away.

I have two of these now, they are some of the most comfortable folding chairs I've ever sat on. We tend to use them camping but they are smart enough to use in the garden when you need extra seating for guests too. The only issue they have is that they take up quite a lot of room in the boot when they are folded up compared to some other folding chairs but they are worth the trade off for their comfort I think and for home use it doesn't really matter.

While I don't need the excessive weight capacity, being 6'1, I find most camp chairs are too low slung to ever be truly comfy. Not so here. The extra padding also provides a luxury feel. While this is definitely an investment, it's one I'm pleased to have made. I don't doubt that on my next trip, I'll absolutely feel like I'm glamping in style. This will add a touch of 'at home-ness' to any outdoor adventure. And it's so well built I'm confident it will last a lifetime.

Bought for my husband who is a large gentleman. He found this more comfortable than his armchair. Though he would like it to be slightly taller. Seems like it should last

Sitting on the beach in the rare sunny days we have had.nkt very sturdy and I havnt attempted to get it back in the carry bag which is too small.
