Used this bait and they were gone within three days. Don't know what kid of ants they were. They would not talk to me or answer any questions. **Q: do I have to do anything to activate them?** A: No. Just open the plastic wrapper. Easy & effective. **Q: It says “child proof”, but is it safe to use with cats, specically the ones who like to counter surf and bat everything around?** A: No it says poisonous for cats. It says they shouldn’t be allowed to touch it or bat it around. I ended up not using mine because I didn’t know that before I bought them. I didn’t want to risk my kitty getting sick **Q: Which baits are black? The photo on the package is black but the thumbnail closeup photo isn white. I don't want white. Suggestions please.** A: The baits are black and useless. I had to purchase another brand to kill my ants. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hot Shot Ant Bait, Kills the Queen and Colony, Works for 6 months, Pack of 1, 8 Count - TERRO Ant Killer Bait Stations T300B - Liquid Bait to Eliminate Ants - 12 Count Stations for Effective Indoor Ant Control - Raid Ant Killer Baits, Child Resistant Bug Killer for Indoor Home Use, 0.24 Oz, 8 Count --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/19489435-hot-shot-maxattrax-ant-bait-8-count-child-resistant-bait](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/19489435-hot-shot-maxattrax-ant-bait-8-count-child-resistant-bait) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
