The issue is not that it will not work because it does initially however, the little silver connector that plugs into your computer becomes loose within the rubber casing creating a bad connection within about 5 uses or so. Even worse yet I even bought a cord that was a little more expensive then this one and it blew after 3 months of owning it. Perhaps I just have terrible luck in the grand scheme of it all but when it comes to purchasing this very, very cheap cord in particular please be aware that it is not made to last. ### ⭐ Made a loud bang then stopped working after 3 months *by P***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 8, 2021* Poor quality and no warranty info. After three months of using it, It made a loud, startling pop like a heavy book dropping from a height. Then it immediately stopped working. I opened it up suspecting it popped a capacitor and indeed it did. DO NOT BUY! ### ⭐ TOTAL JUNK DO NOT BUY!!! *by J***Z on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2014* After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this product. Most of the reviews were all good reviews. I was excited to finally have a working charger and 5 days later POOF!!! Done, Gone, History!!!! It just quit working!!!! 5 whole days!!! What a total piece of junk!!!! Do Not be fooled by reviews probably from people who work for the company.. This item is JUNK!!! Waste of money!!! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/19498265-ac-adapter-battery-charger-for-hp-touchsmart-tx2-1270us-tx2](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/19498265-ac-adapter-battery-charger-for-hp-touchsmart-tx2-1270us-tx2) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
