Can you choose when to print or does it print automatically?

It prints automatically. If you want a choice, upgrade to the Polaroid Z2300 camera (...but it will cost you almost 2x as much for the camera...)

Does it print after picture is taken or can you program when you want picture to print

You print it immediately after the picture has been taken. You cannot print later.

Can you select image that you want to print or does it print every photo?

This camera prints every photo. If you want to decide which pics you want to print, you would need to get a much more expensive camera (i.e., the Polaroid Z2300 for about 2x as much, or the Polaroid SocialMatic, for even more than that. Does this camera print directly from the camera or do you need the integrated printer that is optional?

Yes it prints directly from the camera, really great camera, but it's a little harder to use than I thought... It doesn't instantly capture the pic, you have to hold down the button for at least 20 seconds, picture quality is ok for a Polaroid.
