I replaced the old filter in my Samsung refrigerator with this genuine Samsung water filter, and the difference was noticeable right away. Perfect fit. Easy to replace. This definitely includes the physical key features of real Samsung filters. Water tastes great. Fridge does not leak. Note that samsung has stopped doing the magnetic authentication tag. Now a tag with a QR code is on the filters. Unfortunately, that does not work very well. OEMs have small square nooks at the joint connection with small fins, and larger fins at the bottom. The joint is a clean cut with no imperfections. OEMs also have the Samsung font as dark blue. Should the ones you get have the features above, you do not have to worry about leakages, or poor water flow. If your fridge leaks or water tastes weird, confirm what you received is the real OEM product.

Original filter and easy install

Easy enough to install and always fits in our fridge as it should. It lasts quite awhile too, so its worth the price. We only have to replace the filter maybe twice a year. The water tastes good. I think you have to run the water through the filter a little bit longer than it recommends when first installing because it still has some of those bubbles right away. Overall, I recommend this filter replacement for your fridge!

I’ve been buying these for many years now. I tried going to another cheaper brand, Waterdrop, and had bacteria issues with two filters in a row. When I switched back to these genuine Samsung filters, the bacterial issue was gone. That being said, these are a total rip-off, and I’m definitely tired of paying this ridiculous price for these filters. Next fridge I buy definitely will not have a water dispenser.
