I've read a lot about the benefits (real and imagined) of various herbal compounds. I became curious about several of these compounds, because of some health issues I have experienced (sadly, I keep getting older, so I have to concern myself with these things). I'm not a big believer in superstition and heresay. I really prefer solid evidence. However, I am also sufficiently open minded and willing to try things for myself. What doesn't work for some people, might work for others. That being said, I decided to try Turmeric supplements. The first time I took one, I experienced some major flushing (e.g., I turned bright red), which I suppose is expected. The good news was, Turmeric seems to help alleviate some of the symptoms I was experiencing (I'm being vague because I don't care to discuss my health history for the entire Internet). I later learned that the particular brand of Turmeric I was using, had a hidden California Prop 65 warning sticker on the bottom of the bottle. That really disturbed me. The advertisement on Amazon did not mention this little detail. I decided I would not use that particular brand again. Other customers had also discovered this little fact, as evidenced by their Amazon reviews. So I decided to look for another brand to try. I presume that if a product doesn't have a CA prop 65 warning or sticker on the product, that it doesn't need one (I really am hoping that's true). After searching through the various products on Amazon, I narrowed my choices down to a few brands, including Dr. Danielle's Curcumin. Clearly, there was a significant price difference between what I'd previously purchased, and the other products I was examining. I have to assume that's because the previous product I was using, was somehow deficient or flawed (you can search through my reviews if you're truly curious as to what the other brand was). So I decided to pull the trigger and try Dr Danielle's Turmeric. I was attracted by the fact that this is an organic product, and contains a compound intended to enhance its effectiveness (Bioperine). Apparently this is a special sort of black pepper extract that makes the Turmeric more effective. My education is not in chemistry, so I did a little searching and learned that this Bioperine is a product that can also be purchased alone, for the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of other compounds. So Dr. Danielle's product is really offering a little extra bang for the buck, as it were, by including this compound in their product. I also noticed that most of the other Turmeric compounds I compared, did not also include Bioperine. It is unclear why that is the case. So earlier this week, I received my bottle of Turmeric, and took one immediately. I noticed that once again I became flushed, which had not happened in quite some time. I don't know if that's because I was taking a compound that was more effective than the other brand I had been using, but I can't really think of any other reason why that would happen. More importantly, I noticed that it helped alleviate my symptoms from (the health condition that I'm not discussing openly). It's not a huge effect, but it is noticeable. So, is it worth the extra effort and cost? I suppose that depends on your point of view. I look at this as a quality of life issue. If I can help improve my quality of life a little, by taking an organic supplement, that other cultures have used for medicinal purposes for a Really Long Time (thousands of years, if you believe Wikipedia), then why not? Yes, it's among the more expensive brands. But it didn't come with a hidden CA prop 65 warning sticker on the bottom of the bottle! Which is a big plus to me. And it's working just as well, if not better than what I had been using before.

I’ve experienced a noticeable improvement in my joint pain and inflammation, particularly my hands and knees. The price was right for trying and I’m happy with my progress. The capsules are easy to take with no heartburn which I’ve experienced with similar products. I’m anticipating continued use, will be adding this to my list of supplements and reordering.

If there were ten stars I would give this product ten.I purchased this product for my husband and myself about two months ago. I had the classic symptoms of a bone spur in my right heel, all of the pain is gone. I don't take these religiously with a hectic work life sometimes I forget and I have still found excellent results. Now for my husband he is 62 years old and is your typical stubborn male who balks at any suggestions I have given him to take any type of supplements for his health. He complained about how all of his joints ached and it takes him awhile "to get going" before he didn't have pain in his ankles, his hands hurt him after he played his guitar, he has carpal tunnel in both hands. So I told him that I wanted him to try the Turmeric and to pay attention to his body and how it feels, and that I had read that this could help him. He was desperate enough this time that he didn't put up much of a fight. I handed him the pills the first week to make sure he took them, after a week he told me he thought they were working. I knew that they must be because soon when I would go to give him his pill he started saying he had already taken them on his own. Then when he was packing for a business trip and without me asking if he was bringing them I saw him put them in his suitcase. Now I was really convinced that they were helping him. He told me that at about three weeks is when he noticed that he had no more pain! He told me that Turmeric Curcumin has changed his life and that he plans on taking this product the rest of his life. To hear him say that is just amazing! When I told him that I was writing a review for this product he said if you did a commercial about this product he would want to be in it. He also asked me to tell a coworker where I got it from so he could try it. For my husband to be talking about this and how it has helped him you know it is working for him. Yesterday at Thanksgiving he gave some of his pills to his brother so he can try them out as well. Thank you for creating such a quality affordable product. The reason I chose this product over some others was because it is made with organic turmeric and there are no fillers etc. We are also giving it to our 11 year old dog who is showing signs of age and have seen improved mobility with him as well.

I am writing on behalf of my husband who is so un-tech-savvy, he wouldn't even begin to know how to begin to fill out a review. He has developed pretty severe diabetic neuropathy over the past year or so. It has been a difficult struggle to get our arms around finding relief for him. We are approaching this thing from both angles. He takes "western medicine" gabapentin but we have also drastically changed our eating habits to be more in alignment with the Paleo lifestyle and he has recently seen a naturopath who suggested taking curcumin and alpha lipoic acid. I did some initial research on each of these supplements then jumped online to my favorite store, Amazon. I really wanted these products to be organic with no additives. I read the favorable reviews here on Amazon of Dr. Danielle's Curcumin and Alpha Lipoic Acid products and bought a bottle of each about 2 months ago. Hubby goes through about a bottle a month so he is working on his 2nd bottle of each. He has noticed some healing! The pain and discomfort used to be consistent throughout his abdomen and running down into his legs and feet. I asked him just two days ago if he had noticed any difference and he says that he feels like his legs and feet are "healed" as the sensitivity is localized in his abdomen only. While I believe diet, gabepentin and diligent exercise play are playing a big role in his healing he actually said to me that he thinks that the Curcumin and ALA are helping! Time will tell. He wants to continue with the supplements and we are hoping for continued healing. You've got nothing to lose. Give these products a try!

I've been a health nut all my adult life, so I don't have any serious conditions like many of the reviewers here. However, their reviews intrigued me. Here's why... A couple of years ago, I changed the cushion on my home office executive chair and didn't realize how difficult it would be to align it. The next day I awoke with a back sprain that took many weeks to heal, but ever since that time I would experience sporadic low grade pain - either in the lower or upper back or sometimes on the side. Not enough to stop me from functioning, but still very bothersome and distracting. It would bother me when I would sit - I do a lot of writing at the computer - and also when I would stand for a period of time. Even stretching when working out would set it off. As I said, I'm a health nut, take a lot of nutritional supplements but would never rely on over the counter medications. I've been very busy (have a book deal with Penguin Random House that's taking my focus and attention). Time has gone by... But this week I had a striking realization. My second time ordering this and it does work. I always have a lot of joint pains and tight muscle muscles and when I started taking this, I felt it helped me and I relieve the pain in my back.

This supplement I use for three weeks now. I switched to this brand from another, because it is organic , what I consider very important ,of course. The same amount of pills, the same 500mg of Turmeric Curcumin in the pill, ORGANIC and less expensive ! I was so happy to find it! I started taking it mainly because of the arthritis , that ugly pain in the joints, morning stiffness and problems with the spine. (My husband and I both have this problem,he is 60 and me 55 )) And here is my experience so far: I felt the improvement the very first week of use in my gastro - intestinal tract , it is so pleasant feeling, as if that part of the organism gets its tonic daily. None of that heavy feeling in my stomach anymore , also decreased bloating and causes more frequent stools. ( we, my husband and me are sharing our experiences daily about these pills, and we both felt the same way) I am sure that to those people who suffer from constipation (I do not have this problem) this supplement can help very much in a healthy and natural way. For me this was as a unexpected collateral benefit, to say so . :-))) Cool. I wish to share with you my experience regarding a recent purchase of Dr. Danielle's Tumeric Curcumin. First off, I read all of the wonderful reviews about this product and this is what prompted me to give these capsules a try. I had also done extensive research on the web about Tumeric Curcumin already and it wonderful benefits. This product in particular contains black pepper which I read was necessary to combine with the Tumeric in order for the body to better assimilate and process. I suffer from tendonitis in both of my wrists and was hoping this product could help me. After comparing the many suppliers, I decided on Dr. Danielle's Tumeric Curcumin not only because of all the good reviews but also because it was an easily digestible vegetable cap which I prefer and I thought it was an incredibly added bonus the fact that it was organic. Not to mention she had the best deal of quantity per bottle for the price, so I went ahead and ordered two bottles, still a little skeptical. To my amazement after five days of taking this product I noticed an incredible difference in the pain in my wrists and two weeks later now it is only getting better. I am able to do many things that I could not do for many months without severe pain and honestly what pain I do have is almost is very minimal (and only occasional). Thank you Dr. Danielle's for offering such a fine product that has helped my pain literally go away in such a short period of time. On different occasions when pain has come back, I take one pill immediately at that moment and it eases the pain, I am just amazed. I will definitely continue to order this Tumeric Curcumin from Dr. Danielle's. There was a bit of an issue through Amazon however with my shipment, when I ordered the item I received an email immediately acknowledging my order, however I heard nothing for another seven days so I had to call Amazon to check on my order and then it was sent to me within two days and actually was delivered by regular mail on a Sunday, I was impressed.

Really good product. No soy, gluten or any artificial additives.
