I am 5’5 125lbs what size should I order?

I'm 5'6 and 165 with a 32 waist, purchased a large. Going by their size chart I would say probably a medium. M = 28-30", L = 30-32. Also for a bit more comfort and stretch I recommend that you remove the giant patch sewn on the waist band, takes a bit of patience to undo the stitching but it will feel more comfortable.

How do I return the shorts? I need a bigger size.
