I live in an area affected by active wildfires in Colorado. Air quality intermittently poor, occasionally very bad. I'm normally affected by airborne allergens such as dust & pollen. I can usually tolerate my fairly mild symptoms: itchy eyes, rhinitis, sinus congestion.etc. Since the smoke and ozone pollution exacerbated these symptoms, I bought the Medify MA-25 in order to create a 'clean' room. (My bedroom). After first night of use, I woke up with no sinus congestion for first time in years. I usually sleep w/ windows open, unless pollen levels are high. The MA-25 allowed me to keep windows closed (by eliminating room stuffiness) and proved that my allergies to even 'normal' air were worse than I thought. I'll be using it frequently even after wildfires abate. The unit has 3 fan speeds. The top speed is a bit noisy and I only use it when I'm out of the room. The middle speed is indeed 'whisper quiet'. Some white noise. No sleep disturbance. The lowest speed sounds as if unit isn't on at all. It's recommended to upsize purifiers for frequently occupied spaces so lower fan speeds can be used and still achieve proper purification. I highly recommend this well made, high performing, affordable purifier. It meets all requirements of CARB & Energy Star. Another plus: company is woman and veteran founded and is USA based though the unit is manufactured in China. I'll update review when it comes time to change the HEPA 13 filter.

My doctor recommended this Medify purifier for my small home office (about 500 square feet) to replace a larger one that I had for about five years. I'm a light pipe smoker and I keep my windows open when temps allow. I run it for about 6 to 8 hours a day, and it's far more effective than my last one (a more expensive big-name brand). It's quiet, powerful, and judging from the first electric bill, very energy-efficient. I removes tiny dust particles and mild tobacco odors better than I expected, and it also pulls in pet dander and tiny hairs that might float about. It's much smaller than my last one, so takes up little space. I vacuum vents about once a week and the filters are very easy to change. I'll likely by another one for the den. It's great!!

Very pleased with this air purifier. The set up was so easy and working it is very easy. I think the maintenance is going to be uncomplicated as well. It surpasses any of the purifiers that I’ve had in the past.

Bought based on reviews. Clear instructions, and seems well built. 2nd speed seems tolerable for sitting 8’ away. 1st speed is nearly undetectable, and 3rd is like your window AC unit cranking out. I use the AirNow phone app, so know when air is bad- due to forest fires, stagnant air- or other. Hoping this little dude will give our lungs and noses a break. 2nd speed makes for nice white noise if you use in a bedroom- which I may eventually do. Filter changes will be easy-peezy.

A friend of mine recommended this brand after he purchased the larger model. I did a little research and decided this size would fit my needs. I'm SO glad I bought it, it has made a huge difference in our home! We live in Phoenix, AZ and dust has always been a big problem for us, especially since we have a dog door our dogs virtually fly through, bringing even more dirt and dust inside. Since buying this a couple months ago I have noticed a huge decrease in dust accumulation on surfaces, and the air quality in general has greatly improved. The filters are super easy to clean. Pop the side panels off and use a handheld vacuum, or an attachment, to vacuum off the filters, pop the panels back on and you're good to go! I haven't needed to replace the filters since they last so long, but I have the filter replacements "saved for later" in my Amazon cart. :) I need white noise to sleep, so I keep it on high, but the low setting is virtually silent, and the medium setting is fairly quiet as well. Childlock setting is a huge plus, although our almost 2 yo has been able to turn it off, or just pulls the cord. Not a big deal since we now keep it behind a baby gate. I've recommended this air purifier to so many people already. If you have bad allergies or dust problems like I do, this purifier brand is top notch.

This is easy to unpack and get working in just a few minutes. This really helps clean the allergens that cause my wife to cough and sneeze.

Easy to assemble, great filtration system. Sleek appearance, easy to use. I have a 425 sq foot apartment, and this baby makes a noticeable difference in my apartments air quality in an hour. It's quiet until you get to the third fan speed and honestly, my fan is much louder. Definitely worth the purchase. I have asthma and I one hundred percent approve.

This is a decent product. It worked great for me for over a year. While my usage was constant, it was operated correctly per the instructions. Now it makes a terrible rattling noise that’s well above and beyond the normal level of sound typically emitted from the purifier. Which is loud enough under normal operation, but I never minded- it kind of worked as a white noise machine so it didn’t bother me. Now it’s unbearable. I’m thinking it’s probably a ball bearing in the fan. I don’t have a way to fix this, as the fan is inaccessible. I changed my filters regularly and use the ones recommended by Medify. I still do recommend this product, but I don’t think it should be having this problem.

Impressed with the compact design and it blends in nicely with the surroundings without occupying much space. The overall performance is satisfactory considering the dual filtration system and the noise from the fan is almost silent at lower speed setting. The touch controller on the top adds a layer of sophistication to the design which is very attractive when the unit is in use.

Ive bought two of these air purifiers. I guess i was duped by the reviews. Its very basic, no automatic controls and it seems to act more like an AC rather than air purfier.
