A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE ON THE ROAD TO SELF GROWTH!!
This book is definitely a 10/10!! It’s very impactful and gives you a whole new clear perspective on life. It shows you just how trapped you can become in beliefs that don’t serve you and others. Furthermore, it’s helpful for someone looking to rebrand their life, gain a profound understanding of the human mind, spirituality, and becoming one with themself. This is such a good read and nice gift to give someone who may be trying to discover themselves and who they want to be in their “dream”.

This book has changed my life. Really.
The wisdom in this book has completely transformed my life, more than anything thing else I've ever read or meditated on. This is not hyperbole. The Four Agreements showed up in my suggested titles, as I've purchased books on Buddhism and meditation. It was relatively inexpensive so I thought, "why not?" Once I began the chapter on the First Agreement, I found myself resting my eyes on phrases, sentences, and truths that just stood out from the page with child-like simplicity and tremendous depth. As I started to unpack what I was learning, I cried some good tears. This happened over and over, like the wounds in my soul were beginning to heal. They were healing through my active attention and I learned how to speak to myself without being judgmental. I thought I already knew how to do this through meditation and therapy, but this book uncovers something for me that I just can't explain. I don't want to give away too much of this book, because the way everything is explained is so brilliant and builds in layers. The way it is told is important. You can feel the kind and loving intent within every word. This book is very easy to read and understand; you really don't need advanced philosophy to move mountains of the mind. I feel like Don Miguel Ruiz is right next to me, gently and lovingly help me to see the real beauty in me, the real beauty in the universe and how we are all connected. It has the same force of an elder looking you in the eyes and telling you truths that come from years and years of contemplation, experience and wisdom. The best part is that I'm learning how to be me, really me. I'm learning how to love me, not things *about* me, but the real me way down inside that doesn't have to puff up or put up guards. I'm learning to be vulnerable and relate to others with far less fear and self-doubt. What a gift. What a treasure.

Simple, Wise, and Truly Life-Changing in Everyday Practice
This book is a quick read but filled with timeless wisdom. Each of the four agreements is simple enough to understand yet powerful enough to change how you approach everyday life, especially in how you speak, react, and extend grace to others. I appreciated how the lessons focus on personal responsibility and inner peace. It’s not about perfection, but about living with integrity, truth, and compassion, values that align beautifully with faith and personal growth. The writing is clear, relatable, and easy to revisit when you need a reminder to stay grounded. It’s one of those books you’ll want to keep nearby and reread whenever life feels heavy or complicated. Pro tip: reflect on one agreement at a time and practice it for a few days, the difference in mindset is noticeable.

Transformational Simplicity {A Book You’ll Revisit for Life}
I’ve read The Four Agreements multiple times over the years, and every time I pick it up, it feels like I’m seeing something new, not because the book changed, but because I did. Don Miguel Ruiz takes profound spiritual wisdom and distills it into four simple, actionable principles: 1️⃣ Be impeccable with your word. 2️⃣ Don’t take anything personally. 3️⃣ Don’t make assumptions. 4️⃣ Always do your best. Each chapter breaks down how these agreements can untangle you from unnecessary stress, self-judgment, and emotional conflict. What I love most is how practical it is. You don’t need to be spiritual or familiar with Toltec philosophy to benefit. It’s written in clear, relatable language. I’ve highlighted dozens of passages, but one that always sticks with me is about freeing yourself from the opinions of others. It’s been life-changing for relationships and self-confidence. 💡 Helpful Tip: If you enjoy journaling or personal growth work, read one agreement per week and reflect daily on how it shows up in your thoughts and interactions. That approach helped me internalize it far beyond the first read. The book is short (you can finish it in a day or two), but its lessons last a lifetime. Whether you’re on a journey of healing, growth, or simply want more peace, this book is one to keep on your nightstand and to gift often

very interesting book which in my perspective teaches us how to be aligned with ourselves and to free ourselves from people's expectations, a bit of stoicism in it

Waste of paper, time and money. It could have been a set of four post-its with one agreement on each.

Easy to understand the theory and the wisdom behind it. I will continue to read any related books in the series.
