The quality of this product looks excellent and feels very well made. It is definitely pricey, but in my opinion, the price matches the quality. It feels sturdy, secure, and much better than cheaper options. One thing to keep in mind is that it is a bit bulky, so it does take up quite a bit of space when you need to carry it or pack it. Still, it does what it is supposed to do and feels safe when used correctly. Of course, like any baby float, it needs to be used properly and always with supervision. I also like that it can be used from newborn stage up to a much bigger baby, so it lasts a long time. Overall, I think it is a very good purchase and a great investment.

Well made and secure for your baby! My granddaughter has so much fun getting in the lake and being able to kick and splash. It’s easy to get her in and out of the the sunscreen is nice when she doesn’t want to wear her hat.

This float is amazing! My 7-month-old stayed in it for almost an hour in the pool and absolutely loved it. It kept her safe, comfortable, and upright the entire time, and I could tell she felt secure and relaxed. The float itself is high-quality—the material is soft, waterproof, and feels really durable. The built-in canopy was perfect for keeping the sun off her, and the tail adds extra stability in the water. The variety of color options is amazing and it took me days to decide what design I wanted—I finally settled for the pink ice cream design. The only tricky part was figuring out where to attach the footrest and canopy straps. The instructions could be a little clearer, but once we figured it out, it was super easy to use and quick to get on and off. Definitely worth the investment for a fun and stress-free pool day with baby!

I was hesitant on buying yet ANOTHER item for my baby but with summer heat we have been poolside quite often. I had someone bring this to a pool date and I thought I should invest in one. It turned out to be pretty awesome. My son is not much of a baby that lays on his back yet he is completely relaxed in this. He is a bit on the longer side for 5 months so I attach the foot rest and he is hanging out. I don't have to worry so much since I know he's strapped in and floating. Overall, it's been really great for the summer time and the extra canopy shade is great so that the sun isn't in his face.

I am pleased with this float. Very fast shipping. Good quality. As described. The buckle is secure and easy to use. I posted a video of the ease of opening the clear snap cover and the harness buckles. I simulated unbuckling with one hand because I need to be able to unsnap the harness with one hand while holding my grandson with the other. Do your research there are many knock-off's of the Mambobaby float - this is the real deal. For us the safety, quality, and peace of mind were worth the $30 extra. The price has dropped $15 since my purchase but I would buy it again. The authentic float has "mambobaby" embroidered/woven into the straps and the pull tab (on front - used to hang float for drying) has "mambobaby" printed on it. It also has the words "Safe-Air-Free" screen printed on the left and "Mambobaby" on the right across the surface of the float. We purchased the limited edition 'shark' float which included both the tail fin and the sun shade. While the float seemed stable enough and we did not use the tail today I can see that we will need it in the future-otherwise I can see how a child might flip backwards. I do not think it would be possible for a child to flip the float forward but without the tail I do believe they could flip or fling themselves backwards. Do NOT ever place or leave your child unattended in a pool. This float is well made but the material of the shade does not appear to be of great quality. The chest straps are not long enough. Our grandson will be 6 months next week he is 27# if I had any serious criticism it is that the chest straps are not long enough, and should be longer so that they could be further adjusted for larger babies. I took off one star for this. The velcro is wide so there does seem to be room for adjustment there, and the crotch strap has plenty of length for adjustment as well. While our grandson is just starting to crawl he immediately started kicking in the pool - on the very first use of the float. The float held him in a near perfect angle/position for swimming so I do not feel like I will be encouraging bad swim habits when I use the float. I am not being paid or compensated for this review.

By far safety and comfort are top notch! Definitely worth every penny! All my grand babies will have one in our pool.

My baby is 16months old floats very well and is super comfortable in it. It’s seems to be very well made I haven’t used the canopy so I can’t speak for it. I chose this bc it is supposed to be good up to 4years old

Just what we needed! For our holiday away we wanted something safe for our baby to hang in by the pool. This is such a creative little float. The face it grows with baby at all different stages means you really get moneys worth. Bonus is the sun shade, especially being a bit cautions on using certain sun creams having this permanent shade for baby was brilliant. Our baby was so happy to be bobbing around with us. Dont hesitate buy now!

My baby used this at 4 months and it brought him great joy. He wasn’t crawling, but was able to dig his toes into the sand and propel himself around shallow water while in the tummy position, and he loved this first self-movement. I hesitated buying it because of the price, but it’s so sturdy, floats very well, and holds baby securely, so it’s definitely worth it. The canopy also folds up easily, which helps with travel and storage.

This is well worth the money! Wonderful product. Better than any other blow up or other mesh material ones. It blows up on it own, I don't know how but it is awesome. Holds the baby either laying on tummy or back (depending on age or preference of parent/child) and sturdy enough to hold the baby on own. By that I mean you don't have to hold it the whole time worried it is going to flip or tip. The straps are sturdy and hold the baby in properly. I cannot say enough about how sturdy this thing sits on the water. Our grandaughter started using it at 9 months and is still using it at 11 months and loves it because she is on tummy and can reach the water to splash. Will definitely be around for the next grandkids to come. Not just one of those cheap things that break and you throw away.
