Are these shelf stable or do they need refridgeration while unopened?

Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Ready-To-Drink bottles can be stored chilled or at room temperature until you are ready to use them. If planning to chill them in the refrigerator, we recommend to shake the product when at room temperature and then chill. When you are ready, just shake it again before drinking.
