Asmodee Unlock! Epic Adventures Escape Room Card Game Ages 10+ 1-6 Players 60 Minutes Playing Time

These Unlock! games are awesome. You have to download an app on your smartphone to play the game, but the app is free and plays some fun themed music as your playing. My friends and I have purchased loads of these games as they're so much fun to play and give you an escape room style game from the comfort of your own home. You get 3 games in the box, all of varying difficult level (low, medium and high). They take ~ 1 hour to complete but you can take longer if needed (the app will just remind you that you spend x amount of time over the 60 minutes). I'd recommend these games for teens upwards as they can be a bit tricky to solve (especially the harder style games.

Love unlock games. The game is easy to learn and comes with an easy to use app. The games are often challenging with varying difficulty levels, this one was interesting however I didn't care for the Chinese middle difficulty level. New players need to know that the app is needed

I love these products, they are great fun with friends. Immensely inventive and gripping with a seamless app tie in. However, if you are attempting an escape room from Unlock for the first time, don't pick this one. SPOILER BELOW This first full length game about werewolves in a black and white movie is very clever, but it throws out all of the colour combination rules that the tutorial and other levels thrive upon, meaning that if you are playing with new people for the first time, it can be quite tough to get their head around! These are brilliant board games though and I would highly recommend to any seasoned puzzle solver.

Great fun - just like all the other Unlock games. This game is in English - which it states in the answers to the customer questions - so not too sure why the rating has been brought down due to people avoiding this knowledge!

We tried one of the small adventures 'Mummy's Tomb' and it was so easy to get into and fun to play. I then ran the same game for others, like a DM. A fun-packed-pocket-pleasure to play!

Fun game for groups, challenging but app provides hints, downside is there's only three different games in one box and it's hard to replay as you remember the answers.

So clever! We really enjoy doing these. The app makes is very much like an escape room feel. Kids are 14 and 10 and reay get into the games.

I love Unlock games. They are easy to play and require about 5 minutes to learn the basics. The games are comprised of almost all cards except for an occasional map. An app is required but it's great...very well done. The puzzles/escapes are all contained in cards or combinations of cards with assistance from the app. I would say the challenges are primarily of moderate difficulty but there are some that can stump you. You need to be observant and think outside the box a bit. The app will also be used as a "tool," and be used in several different, pretty clever ways. Each box (aside from Unlock Short Stories) contain 3 adventures. They are 100% mutually exclusive. You can play them in any order. The games can be re-played because no damage or modification to the cards is required. I have played one which required you fold a map and maybe a card but there was no damage done and is completely replayable. The par score on most of the adventures is 60 minutes. My brother in law and I are pretty good at these type of games and we came in at about that time. We have gotten better at them and our times have improved but I think 60 minutes is a good goal. There are hints that you can use but they give you a time penalty. I think that these are probably best played by 2 or maybe 3 players. You are dealing with cards and having to pass it around to several people can slow the game. I've played 6 different Unlock adventures and this set has 3 good ones. The Sherlock Holmes one is really great. Definitely recommend these. Good thought provoking fun for escape/puzzle fans.

These Unlock Escape games are tons of fun. They for you to use your mind and do some out thinking to solve puzzles and games. 3 different games in each box for hours of fun! I've got a few different ones. They're all so different and creative.

Wir waren von allen drei Adventures begeistert. Die Rätsel waren nicht zu leicht, aber dennoch nachvollziehbar - auch die, bei denen man mal "outside the box" denken musste. Mein Favorit der Reihe bisher.
